Hidee ho, good stampers!! It's Saturday which means it's time for another awesome Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge!!

This week we are getting ready for May Flowers!!! That's an easy challenge for me as I used flowers on just about every creation I make!! So be sure to include flowers on your card somewhere and then share it with us over at the Challenge Blog and you could win some new rubbah, baby!!

Now, as I've been super busy the last couple of weeks with Scrapfest, catching up after Scrapfest, getting ready for the May release, taxes...blah, blah, blah....I haven't had time to whip up a new card. Sooooo, I thought I'd share one with you that was recently published in the Jan/Feb issue of Through the Craftroom Door. I submitted it for a sketch that they provided and it was chosen as one of the feature cards! Yay!

I used the lovely Drucilla and one of the sentiments from the Sassy Sentiments set. I used some of my favourite Basic Grey Bittersweet papers....and I'm almost out...eeek! Of course I added some Prima flowers and this lovely satin polka dot ribbon from Papertrey. Lastly I added some teeny tiny pearls as the pin heads.

Now hop on over to the KKStamps Challenge Blog and check out the cards that the Krafty Girls and Guests have made for you and then be sure to join us!!!

Happy kraftin'!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and Pick Your Own Sketch!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring yet another fun challenge this week! Over at Cute Card Thursday you can pick your favourite sketch from them or from another challenge blog and play along!! And between our own challenge, yesterday's CPS Challenge and today's CCT Challenge, you've got THREE chances to win some KKStamps rubbah!!!

The sketch that I chose to use is a previous CCT sketch and I was away on holidays when it was up so I didn't get a chance to play along! It's a fun one too!

I used one of the new fairies on my card....this is Rosabelle! I used some lovely, springy Echo Park papers and coloured her up with my Copics to match. I used some retired Soft Sky stitched grosgrain ribbon, some Prima hydrangeas and lots of rhinestones! I also added some Stardust Stickles to the flowers and of course to Rosabelle's wings and antennae. Doesn't she look cute!? Lastly I used the sentiment that comes with her on a scalloped punch!

Now hop on over to the KKStamps Challenge Blog to check out what the other Krafty Girls did and then be sure to play along!!

A CPS Sketch!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is thrilled to be sponsoring the Card Positioning Systems challenge this week! Several of our very talented Krafty Girls have created some inspiring samples for you and today we're going to share them!

This week's sketch is absolutely perfect for our images! You can use pretty much any one of our stamps on this sketch or even turn the sketch and use one of our Krafty Quotes!! So easy to play along!

I used the lovely Lilybelle on my image and coloured her up to coordinate with the Echo Park papers that I used. I used my mat pack to do some paper piercing around the frame of the main layer and of course added the sparkle to her wings using Stardust Stickles!!

The sentiment I used on the flag is from our Fairy Sentiments set! Lots of fun phrases to use with our new little fairy stamps! Lastly I added some glittery dots to the corners and on the sentiment flag!

Now hop on over to the KKS Challenge Blog to see the cards made by our Krafty Girls and and then go check out some more samples over on the CPS challenge blog. Then JOIN US with this fabulous sketch and you could win some new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

Krafty Challenge #75 - Make It FRILLY!!

Welcome back for another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge!! This week Krista would like us to......Make It FRILLY!!! Not a real tough one for me, as I like all things frilly and girly!! heehee!

I chose to use one of my recent favourites....Rebecca Raspberry! Her hair is just SO much fun to colour! This time I decided to do her in traditionally raspberry colours...lovely dark pinks!

The papers I used are some older ones from my stash and I believe they are from We R Memorkeepers. I stamped her on Neenah using Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copics. Then I sponged her edges and the patterned paper edges with Vintage Photo distress ink.

I used some pink ruffled ribbon along the side and decided to scrunch it up more while I was gluing it down to make it even more ruffled. I created this luscious cluster of Prima flowers, hydrangeas, punched leaves and pearls....love the way it turned out. I finished her off by adding the sentiment that comes with Rebecca, along with a few more pearls!

Be sure to join us for this frilly challenge and if you do, you could win a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp! Now hop on over to the Challenge Blog and check out the amazing inspiration that the Krafty Girls and Guests have waiting for you!!!

Wishing you a very blessed Easter!!

Krafty Hop and Release Day!!

Well....I'm sorry to say....but this is the end of our Krafty Hop!! But wasn't it amazing??? SO many fabulous creations along the way featuring our new Fairies, Dress Up Kids and Krafty Quotes!!! And I have two cards left to show you today!

My first is a very soft and elegant one, featuring the Lucille Ball quote from our new Krafty Quotes #3 set! I still remember watching reruns of the I Love Lucy show when I was a kid. What a funny lady!

I used some new floral papers from the Sparkling Spring collection by Prima. I used some Nesties to cut out the main layer and I sponged around the frame and around the main patterned paper layer with brown chalk ink

That gorgeous lace you see was one of my finds at Scrapfest last weekend.....so luscious, yes?? I added a pretty Prima flower, some leaves and a sprinkling of white pearls!

My second card for today featuring the enchanting Princess Penny!! These papers came from another Prima pad of papers called Sweet Fairy! Pretty perfect for this release, wouldn't you say???

I coloured her up with my Copics, cut her out and embossed her with my new Nesties and sponged around the frame with some aqua chalk ink. I added some rose binding ribbon and a cute little bow! The sentiment I used comes with Lucy!

Well, that's it folks!! Now you can hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop because ALL the new stamps are NOW available!!! Thanks for hoppin' and happy shoppin'!!!

New FAIRIES!! BINGO!!

Happy Saturday, stampers! And today is a doubly awesome Saturday....not only is it Krafty Challenge day, but it's also the final day of our April Krafty Peeks!!! Wait 'til you see 'em!!

Tara is our fantabulous hostess this week and she'd like us to play a little game called....BINGO!! Just take a look at the card below, pick a line....either vertically, horizontally or diagonally....and include those three items on your card!! What fun!!!

AND the cards you'll see today as samples for our challenge, all feature the NEW FAIRY stamps by Annie Rodrigue!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Can you stand it?? These little pixies are just SO sweet and perfect for spring!!

My card features the sweet and...might I add.....cheeky, Clarabelle!! I think she is my favourite of the bunch! I gave her some fancy pink hair and soft blue wings! I cut her out with my Nesties and sponged around the frame with chalk ink.

The papers I used are from Echo Park....love the combination of springy sweet colours! I chose to do the diagonal line from bottom left to top right....I've used a die for the main image, two rows of sparkly ric rac trim and a swirly gem flourish for the bling!

The sentiment I used comes with Clarabelle....each Fairy has her own matching sentiment.......and to finish her off I added some sparkle to her wings and antenna with my clear Spica pen.

I hope you can play along with our fun Bingo challenge this week! If you're our random winner, you will receive one of the new fairy stamps!

Now be sure to come back tomorrow for our Release Day Krafty Hop, with samples featuring most of our new stamps, prizes hidden around the hop and of course all the new stamps will be available!! The fun starts over at the Challenge Blog!! See YOU there!!

More Krafty Peeks.....check out this Dude!!

'Have you had enough? Or are you thirsty for more??' Haha! One of my favourite lines from Home Alone! Are you back for more Krafty Peeks???? Well, the Krafty Girls and I have got LOTS more for you!!!

This month Steven Leary has some super awesome Dress Up Kids!!! Woohoo! These little peeps are so much fun to play with! They're perfect for kids cards, birthday cards, invitations and even halloween! OH and don't forget all those awesome scrapbook pages featuring your kiddos!!

I chose to use Astronaut Andy today! I found this funky space themed paper called Blast Off! by Bo Bunny at Scrapfest last weekend! One of the few things I found while I wasn't in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps booth! It's so cute and perfect for Andy!

I used navy cardstock for the A2 sized base and green and orange for accents and matting. I stamped Andy on Neenah cardstock with Memento black ink and coloured him in with coordinating Copic markers. I cut him out and embossed the frame with my Nesties and then sponged around the edge while the image was still in the die.

I added some linen thread around the middle, some awesome sparkly red dots at the top and the sentiment I used is from the Steampunk Sentiments set! You can also see that I added crystal lacquer to his helmet to make it all shiny!

Now hop on over to the KKStamps Challenge Blog to check out all the other amazing Dress Up Kids from our Krafty Girls!! These new stamps will be available on Sunday at the KKStamps Shop, along with Krafty Quotes #3 and the new Annie Rodrigue stamps!!! So come on back tomorrow for more peeks AND our weekly challenge!!

April Krafty Peeks.....Day ONE!

It's the middle of April.....the weather is warming up, the sun is making an appearance, we're shedding those big ol' heavy sweaters, winter boots and mittens. AAAAAAND it's time to start peekin' our new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

We have some seriously awesome stamps AGAIN this month! We're sharing new Steven Leary stamps tomorrow, new Annie Rodrigue images on Saturday and today.....we've got new Krafty Quotes! As always we have four quotes that are larger in size, perfect for your scrappier cards and of course, you're scrapbook pages!!!

This month's Krafty Quotes #3 features sentiments from Katherine Hepburn, Lucille Ball, Eleanor Roosevelt and Gloria Steinem!

I have to admit that I ADORE using my Copic markers and colouring all my lined images and scrappy cards are a bit of a stretch for me, but I've been thoroughly enjoying stretching myself and creating something a little out of my comfort zone. And I don't think I'm doing too badly! hehe.

My card features the quote by Katherine Hepburn and it's one of my favourites! I mean, you gotta have a little fun, right? Gotta live on the edge...? Haha! I used some Basic Grey Hopscotch papers, coordinating cardstock and distressed it all with brown ink. Then I added some lovely, soft eyelet lace and an elegant Prima flower!

Now hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog and check see what the other Krafty Girls and Guests have to show ya!! Then be sure to check in tomorrow for some adorable new stamps from Steven!!

Scrapfest ROCKED!!!

Wow!! What a fantastic weekend for the Krafty Girls at Scrapfest!! As most of you know, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps had a booth at Scrapfest in Kitchener this weekend....in fact, we met a lot of you there!!!

It's taken me a couple of days to recover....actually I'm still trying to catch up....but I wanted to share some fun pics of the event!!

Here's a great one of all of us together in front of our AWESOME booth on Saturday morning before the doors opened. From left to right: Krista, Melanie, me, Tara, Junior Krafty Girl Hannah, Andrea and Angie. Doesn't our booth just rock???

We had SO many gorgeous cards hung up around the booth!! Each and every one of them was hand crafted by our amazing designers....even some from overseas from our girls Elaine and Donna! So even though they couldn't be with us in person, they were sharing their artwork!! It was so amazing to see people come into the booth and ooooh and aaaaah over the girls' cards and all the stamps!!

We also had lots of fun things from one of our artists, Annie Rodrigue!!! There were 5x7 prints, keychains and magnets featuring her amazing art!! We will also be carrying these items in our online store later this month!

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all my wonderful Krafty Girls!! You did such an amazing job in the booth, generously sharing your talents and knowledge of stamping and colouring at the demo table....and being so welcoming and sweet with all the customers! Not to mention keeping me sane all weekend! But most especially, I'd like to thank my wonderful husband! Not only did he do all the heavy, manly stuff putting the booth together etc., he was so great with all the customers in the booth, helping them find the images they wanted and showing off all the girls' work with the cards. ALSO....he was our comic relief all weekend and kept us in fits of laughter!! Love you, honey!!

Thanks to everyone who joined us in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps booth! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to make so many new friends!! Scrapfest was a lot of work...but more importantly, a LOT of fun!!! See you next year!!!

Come see us at SCRAPFEST!!

Come see Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps in booth #220 for lots of fun!!! We've got gifts with purchase, sales, Gimme Kimmie Kits and more surprises! You'll meet several of the Krafty Girls and you can watch them bring Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to life with their amazing colouring!

Please note that this will be a Cash Only event for us.
Can't WAIT to see YOU!!!

Here are some pics from Scrapfest last fall! Doesn't it look FUN???

It's a Stripey Kinda Day!!

Happy Saturday!!! Maybe you noticed that I've been gone for a couple of weeks?? Well, my family and I had a wonderful and much needed vacation and we just returned this week. We drove to Florida and went on our first cruise!! I can't say enough wonderful things about it.....the accommodations, the food, the fun activities, the amazing weather and the awesome ports! We spent a day in Labadee, Haiti and also in Falmouth, Jamaica. Such an incredible holiday....and now I'm up to my eyeballs catching up with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! haha!!!

So this week's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge is all about STRIPES!!! So just make sure to include stripes of some kind on your creation and if you used a KKStamp, you could be our random winner!!!

For my card, I used the lovely Prince Charming and paired him up with some lovely coordinating Pixielicious papers. The sketch is a Kimmie original so feel free to use it...hehe! I really like it, so I'm going to use it again for sure!

I coloured the Prince up with my Copic markers, used my Nesties to cut him out and emboss him and then sponged around the frame with Wheat chalk ink. The fun lace trim is from Making Memories and I also added a trio of pearls and used my Stardust gel pen on his crown!!

We hope you'll join us for our Stripey challenge this week....now hop on over to the Challenge Blog to check out all the amazing creations from the Krafty Girls and our special April Krafty Guests!!!

OH and be sure to come back tomorrow for all the details on an incredible Krafty event that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be at next weekend!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! So exciting!!
