The End of our Krafty HOP!!

Sadly, this is the final stop on today's Kraftin' Kimmie HOP!!!  But wasn't it fantastic!?!  SO much to see!!  And that means your next hop is over to the SHOP where ALL the awesome new stamps that you've just seen are NOW available!!!!

I have just one more project to show ya!!  This quick little card features one of the sweet little lovelies from our new Sugar and Spice set by Cheryl Alger!!!

I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copic markers and then cut it out.  I kept it very clean and simple, as this design was actually submitted to the Paper Crafts Magazine call but it didn't get picked up....so technically it's a reject....but I love the way it turned out!  {And another one of my cards got chosen anyway, so it's all good!}

The card base is kraft cardstock and I stamped the image directly onto the kraft as well and then paper pieced the cut out image on top.  I added some pink twine from The Twinery across the top.   Lastly I stamped one of the fun sentiments from Sugar and Spice to finish it off!

Well that's it!  So we hope you enjoyed the HOP and have lots of fun when you SHOP!!!

Challenge 108 - A Royal Sketch!! heehee!

I know a lot of you who will be hyperventilating as you hop around the Krafty Girl blogs today, checkin' out the AMAZING Alice in Wonderland stamps that Annie has created this month!!!  I know I did!!  We're very excited at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, for you to see all six of the new stamps plus the coordinating Wonderland Sentiments set combined with the fantastic Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge for this week, which is a fabulous sketch!!

I couldn't wait to play with this beautiful Red Queen stamp!!!  I had the perfect papers and idea for my card!!  I was so excited and I coloured it up when the girls were here at my house for our Krafty Khristmas party!  I was really happy with the way she turned out.  So I created the card using black, white and of course red...I added some wide grosgrain ribbon and tied a double bow using my Bow Easy.

The element that I really wanted to add was the hand of cards behind the main image layer so I cut them out of the patterned paper and arranged them......I think that's a royal flush, isn't it??  I added a crown charm and some pearls!!

Now, remember how I said I was super excited about the Queen and had this great idea for my card, meaning the cards??  Well, I was so focused.....that I forgot the challenge this week was a SKETCH!!!  Well, thankfully it turned out relatively close to the sketch .....so I'm going to say that this design was 'inspired by' the awesome sketch!!  hehehe!

Now head on over to the KKS Challenge Blog and see who else has creations to share today featuring these amazing Alice in Wonderland stamps!  Then be sure to join us for tomorrow's Release Day and Krafty HOP when ALL the new stamps will be available at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

Lots of Love!!! with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

The stamp I used on my card today is the sweet little princess from Lots of Love 1 and she's dreaming of her prince!!  heehee!  I stamped her on Neenah and coloured her in with my Copic markers and then cut her out.  The card base is kraft cardstock, the patterned paper is some of my favourite Basic Grey, Bittersweet!

The doily is from my stash....I'm not sure where it came from, but I have a couple more and plan to use them soon!  So cute!  I added the frilly ribbon at the top and made a pretty bow with my Bow Easy!  Then added one of the matching sentiments on a little tag with a button and linen thread!  Lastly, I added a little bit o' sparkle with Stardust Stickles on the hearts!  Doesn't she look sweet??
