For my creation I decided to use the sassy new BAMBI BUBBLE GUM!!!  Isn't she just a hoot???  I pulled out my brand new So Happy Together 6x6 pad from Echo Park and used some fabulous papers along with kraft cardstock for my A2 sized card.

I coloured up Bambi using my Copic markers.....I just love the look of the traditional bubble gum machine and Bambi's fabulous clothes!!  I added some flowers, pearls and some satin polka dotted ribbon!  Lastly I added a sentiment from one of yesterday's Too Cute To Spook sets on a flag and added another pearl!  SWEET!

Now be sure to check out all the other Krafty Girls with fun stuff to share today and then join us for the challenge because you could WIN one of the new stamps!  Then come on back tomorrow because it's RELEASE DAY!!!  And we'll have a Krafty Hop for you and ALL the new stamps will be LIVE at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!!

Happy kraftin'!

Trick or Treat!!

When I saw Emilie's new images for our Halloween release, I gasped out loud!  These little cuties have SUCH character!  Especially this little Trick or Treater!!

This little Bumble Bee is from the new Too Cute To Spook 2 stamp set that will be released, along with ALL the other new August stamps, at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop on Saturday night at midnight!!!  What perfect timing for a Halloween release, right?!

I didn't have a lot in the way of Halloween papers as most of them haven't been released yet in Canada, so I pulled out some My Mind's Eye papers from the Fine and Dandy True Blue collection and used the orange and yellow papers.  The polka dotted paper is an older Echo Park piece and the rest is kraft cardstock.

I coloured up the image with my Copic markers and added some sparkle to her wings and antennae using my clear Spica pen.  Then I distressed all the paper edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and a sponge.  You'll notice that yummy, gauzey stuff behind the main image that gives the looks of spiderwebs!!  Well, that is actually cheesecloth that I picked up at the hardware store!  My friend and fellow Krafty Girl, Alyce Keegan uses it a lot and totally inspired me....now I want to use it on everything I make!!  Haha!

I stamped one of our awesome new Halloween Trinkets stamps on kraft and punched it out to use as my sentiment...doesn't it look perfect there?  I added some Martha Stewart bat punches here and there and then tied some black twine in a bow and dangled this awesome pumpkin charm to finish it off!!!  Perfect Halloween creation...and not too scary either!!

Below you'll find a list of all the amazing Krafty Girls who have stuff to share with you today featuring the new Too Cute to Spook 1 & 2 stamp sets AND you'll want to leave a comment on each one because I'm giving away both sets!!!!

Happy kraftin'!!

Too Sweet to Be Scary!!!!

Well, hidee ho good stampers!!!  I have a super cute card to share with you featuring one of the A.DOR.A.BLE new Lulu images that will be released on Sunday at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!!

This is Ladybug Lulu and you can get her and two other equally sweet images plus four coordinating sentiments in the new Halloween Lulu stamp set!!!  I just couldn't wait to colour her up!

I decided to play with some less spooky papers and not to use traditional Halloween colours this time.  I think she just looks to innocent to be ghoulish!  Heehee!  So I pulled out my Fly a Kite 6x6 pad from MME and used the nice bright colours as my inspiration!

I coloured Lulu up using my Copic markers of course!  The card is a 5.5 ins square card and I added a trio of Stampin' Up buttons and some lovely twine.  I finished it off by stamping up one of the sentiments that comes with the Halloween Lulu stamp set and made it into a little flag!

Below you will find a list of all the other Krafty Girls and Guests who have lovely Lulus to share with you today!  Be sure to comment at each and every stop because one lucky stamper will win the whole set!!!

Challenge 140 - Out of the Box!!

It's so exciting for me to get to play along with the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges....it's been so long since I've been able to, what with the move and getting things all organized again.  The krafty area is pretty much a shambles and it looks like a tornado blew through here, but what fun!!!

This week's challenge is to use the Out of the Box Technique....which can be done with either your dies or just with a straight edge!  You'll see lots of different examples over at the KKS challenge blog, from our Krafty Girls and Guest!!

My card features one of the spooktacular images from our Halloween release last year!  {Wonder why I am in a Halloween mood....perhaps we are gearing up for a haunting August release party!! *wink*}  This is Belinda Bones and I figured that a circle spotlight around her juggling bones would be fun!!  So I used my Creative Memories cutting system and cut around both sides to her legs and then used my cutting scissors to cut around her skirt and legs!

I used some of my Happy Halloween papers by Echo Park from last year....'cause the new stuff isn't in Canada yet.  I added some pretty flowers, the sentiment that comes with Belinda and some glitter dots in the corner!  Then my FAVOURITE part is the cheesecloth that I picked up at the hardware store today!!!  I was inspired by the lovely gauzy stuff that my friend and fellow Krafty Girl, Alyce uses on almost all her creations and thought it would look perfect as a webby sort of look with this card!!!

Now hop on over to the challenge blog and check out everyone else's awesome creations!  Then play along!!  We'd love to SEE your Kraftin' Kimmie kreations!!!
