Guess Whoooooooooo and a Sketch Challenge!!

Today's post is going to be relatively quick as I am heading in to work all day.....yuck!!! Did you all know that it's National Scrapbooking Day today?? I think it's absolute torture to make a girl work ALL day on this most special of days!!! *giggle* No, I mean it. I should be able to scrap at my desk, don't you think??

Anyway, I had so much fun playing with Frances the Owl the other day!! Isn't she just so fluffy and cute?? Frances and the sentiment are both part of the latest release of fun stamps from High Hopes.

Well, I knew that I had to use browns on my owl so I pulled out some older papers that I've had for a while that have browns in them. These ones are from KI Memories and My Mind's Eye. I made a square base from Chocolate Chip and used So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie cardstock for accents. I coloured Frances in using my Copic markers and I think I did pretty well for the shading and stuff. I'm gettin' there anyway. I finished it off by pop dotting Frances and adding some Prima flowers with some coordinating SU brads!!

NOW for the challenge!!! I have some cutie patootie High Hopes stamps sitting here waiting for some wonderful stamper to claim them!!! The winner of this challenge will receive new unmounted stamps including: Mike the Monkey, a bunch of bananas, and the Cheeky Monkey sentiment!!!

Do you want to know how you can win??? Of course you do!! Simply make a card or scrapbook page using the sketch from my Guess Whoooooo? card as inspiration!! Make sure to leave a comment in this post and link us up so we can all see your card. If you post it to a public gallery like SCS, please use the keyword KHHC2 for Kimmie's High Hopes Challenge 2. Now don't misunderstand, you don't have to use only High Hopes stamps......you can use anything on your card!!

You have until Wednesday, May 7th at midnight EST to enter your creations!!! I hope you have lots of time this weekend to get crafty!!!

  3. It is a terrible shame that we have to work today. I do have some CK magazines that I'm hoping to look through this afternoon when I am on the desk.

  10. Kimmie! I agree, you should have been able to scrap at your desk, some people just don't get it! This is an adorable card though, and another wonderful challenge. I have been wishing for some new HH so maybe I will give it a try and maybe my luck will be with me. Thanks for sharing another wonderful card and I hope you didn't have to work too hard.
