My very first Hanglar!!!!

Look at that! A second post for today!! Woohoo!! Look at me go! I was able to play along with the Ways to Use It challenge this morning, which was to use your corner rounder!

So I pulled out this precious Hanglar stamp that I just received in the mail from my friend Inger Marie! She lives in Norway and was able to purchase some Hanglar stamps for me and I just got them in the mail a couple of weeks ago! I've been DYING to play with them and today was my first opportunity!! Thanks Inger!! You're the BEST!!!



I stamped this little sweetie on Wausau bright white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I wanted to use my new Rainbow Sherbet dp from Stampin' Up so I broke open the package and pulled out several coordinating pieces. I coloured the image in using my Copic markers in matching colours and matted her on Tempting Turquoise. I also used Green Galore for matting the large piece of dp and then I sewed them together using my sewing machine. I used my corner rounder to make a scalloped border on two of the layers, pop dotted the main piece, added a sentiment by CCDesigns and attached two Prima Painterly Petals (from The Town Scrapper) using rhinestone brads. The finishing touch was to add a tiny bit of highlighting using some white acrylic paint.
