Happy Hanglar Christmas!!

Here is another one of my precious Hanglar stamps and I was able to play with it for the first time on Sunday afternoon. I pulled out my Wassail papers by Basic Grey (which have hardly seen the light of day yet) and made this simple holiday card!

I used Always Artichoke for the base along with Riding Hood Red for matting. I stamped the Hanglar girl on Wausau bright white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I coloured her using my Copic markers. Now the image is just the girl standing holding a string....which didn't make sense to me. There must be some accessory stamps that would go with her but I don't have them. So I decided to make it look like she had a string of ornaments. I drew in the 'hooks' hanging over the string and then used some glittery green brads as the ornaments!

I sponged all around the layers using Always Artichoke ink and a sponge. I also drew in the ground and then sparkled up her wings with my Sakura Stardust gel pen....love that thing! I used some of my new striped Riding Hood Red grosgrain ribbon, used a CCDesigns sentiment and punched it out with my oval punch and then pop dotted everything! Happy Christmas!!
