Last Stop on the KRAFTY HOP!!!

Well, this is the last stop on today's krafty release day HOP!!  I have one last card to show you!!!!

 
I used this sweet girl from the new WORLD OF WONDER stamp set!!  I had a lot of fun creating this scene with sky and grass papers....some cloud dies and I also distressed the papers and added ink to add some definition.

I cut out the stamped and coloured image and added some ribbon, twine and a button!  The sentiment of course, is perfect with this image!!!  Heeheee!!  This set, along with ALL of the other stamps we shared this week are NOW available in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!!

Also, the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp shop now carries a selection of 6x6 paper pads!!!  We are happy to offer these to our Canadian customers at the moment, due to the extra weight of the paper.  But if there are any International/US customers that would also like to take advantage of the paper pads, please email us for a quote on the extra shipping costs involved!  OH and to celebrate this new feature, we've even got a few of the pads ON SALE!!

It's NO Mystery......why we're FRIENDS!!

 This month we have a FABULOUS collection called...... LOVELY LITERATURE!!!  If you are a total book lover, like most of the Krafty Girls, you are gonna LOVE these familiar characters!!! 

I chose to use the main character in some of my favourite books as a kid!!  It's NANCY DREW!!!  I had a great time paper piecing her skirt and coloured her fabby hair!  I used some great MME papers and frames and a great assortment of flowers!  And the sentiment is so perfect!!!

Well, HOWDY!

Welcome back to day four of our FEBRUARY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share TWO ADORABLE new sets by artist Cheryl Alger!!! You'll recognize these characters from previous sets.....Lulu, Lexi and Lucas! And they are just as cute as can be!!! These new sets are.......LIL' BUCKAROOS and SOMEBUNNY LOVES YOU!

 I used the new Lexi from the LIL' BUCKAROOS stamp set along with some older glitter My Mind's Eye papers!  I had a stompin' good time with her!!  I  also went a little outside of my comfort zone and added a dotty background around the main image and also drew in some grass with my pencils.  Not sure what I think of it yet, but I'd like to practice some more.  Isn't she just ADORABLE!?!

Check out the SPRING SWEETIES!

It's Day ONE of our krafty peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and we're kickin' things off a day early because we have SO much krafty goodness to pack into the krafty peeks this week!!! 

We have tons of awesome new stamps AND we're excited to have another ONLINE RELEASE PARTY!!!  It's happening this SATURDAY at our Facebook fan page....and we'll post more information later in the week!  We did this for the first time last month and it was a HOOT!!  So much fun, so many giveaways and of course, the NEW STAMPS!!  So all the new stamps we're sharing over the next few days will be released on SATURDAY NIGHT!

Last Stop on the FURRY HOP!

Well, I'm the last stop on today's krafty hop, celebrating the release of our NEW stamp set!!   Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is releasing an EXCLUSIVE Moonlight Whispers stamp set!!  FEATHERS AND FUR is the newest of our special Krafty Klubhouse Kits!!

I used the sweet puppy dog image for my creation today!  I'm not very happy with the way the hair turned out....you can see how the ink got all tacky in the photo because it's shiny in spots.  But I LOVE the way the fur turned out!!  I coloured the image up and then put some of the clean blending solution on the tip of an old washcloth and dabbed the furry area!  Now it looks all furry!!  Yay!!

 
The papers I used are from the Lost and Found Oliver 6x6 pad by My Mind's Eye, along with coordinating cardstocks from SU.  I layered a couple of different Nestabilities for the main area behind the image and added some pearls.  There are lots of great sentiments to go with this set so I used one of the dog specific ones and added an acrylic flower and some lace!!!

It's a NEW Krafty Klubhouse KIT!

Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is previewing an EXCLUSIVE Moonlight Whispers stamp set!!  FEATHERS AND FUR is the newest of our special Krafty Klubhouse Kits…..we’ve been releasing a new one every few months and this is our first one for 2013!!

 I thought I would play with this fun image from the new set for my first card!!  I had SO much fun colouring her beautiful long braid and I can't wait to try the bird in different bright colours!! 

 I used my new Doodlebug Lovebirds 6x6 pad with matching heart pearly thingie beside the sentiment.  I added some wide ribbon and tied that cute little birdcage charm with some red twine!!

I also finished the inside with the coordinating washi tapes and another of the sentiments that comes with the kit.  Unfortunately, the picture kind of sucks because I was trying to snap the photo really quick but the card kept sliding and opening up again!  Haha!
