You're a HOOT! - Wonderful Wednesday!!

It's Wonderful Wednesday time!! We hope you can play along!! As's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!

My creation today features the brand *new* YOU'RE A HOOT stamp set that was just released last week!!!  It's by new artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen and her work is just phenomenal!

I had so much fun designing this card!  First I pulled out my distress inks and created a fun watercolour background for my little love birds!  Then I stamped the branch directly on the background using versafine ink for a crisp and clear impression.

Next I coloured up two of the owl images from the set using my Copic markers!  They were so quick and fun to colour!  The card is an A2 sized background with turquoise matting and a slip of some leftover Doodlebug paper from one of the fall paper pads!

I added a little flag at the top and stamped one of the fabby sentiments that comes with the set.  I also coloured up the large heart stamp that comes with the set and it's covered in glossy accents....sooo pretty!  I then pop dotte
d the heart and both of the owls and voila!!  Such a fun card!

Wonderful Wednesday with Lulu's Wheels!

Good morning and welcome to another
Wonderful Wednesday with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I've used one of my absolute favourite new stamp sets from the June release!!!  It's LULU'S WHEELS!

I don't know about you, but autumn is my favourite season and I'm looking ahead to the crisp fall weather!  So I designed this card with that colour scheme in mind!

First off, I created the background using my new distress oxide inks, blending a couple of colours together to create a sort of sunset!  Then I flicked some water on it to create the droplet effect and give it some texture!

The papers I used are, of course, Doodlebug!!!  I think the luggage designer paper goes perfectly with the theme.  I used some new Lawn Fawn dies to create the road and added some linen thread, some leaf dies in coordinating colours, a Doodlebug tin pin and one of the fun sentiments on a flag!

I simply adore the look on this little mouse's face!

I used one of the sweet images from the new PUDDLE PALS stamp set from our April release!  I simply adore the look on this little mouse's face!

I stamped out the image on Copic Xpress It paper using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured it up using my Copic markers.  The base is white cardstock in A2 size and I used some fun spring papers from Doodlebug!  I used a polaroid die and some fun stitched cloud dies.  Lastly I added some faux stitching with my Copic multiliner.
