Keep Swimming!

Good morning, happy krafters!!!  It's time for another Wonderful Wednesday challenge and I hope you can join us for all the fun!

The challenge is always Anything Goes so feel free to use whatever style, design, theme, layout etc.....just get stampin'!!

For my creation I used the sweet new KEEP SWIMMING and OCEANS OF LOVE clear stamp sets which are both back in stock!!  I used Lulu and some of her little sea friends to create this fun scene!

I made a fun watercoloured background using my Zig clean color markers in a rainbow of colours!  Then after it dried, I painted over top with my Wink of Stella brush to add lots of sparkle!  I coloured up all the images using my Copic markers, then trimmed them out and pop dotted them to give the scene some dimension.

I added a little section of cheesecloth in the corner along with some seaweed looking dies in green plus a seashell!  I stamped the Keep Swimming sentiment on a patterned paper flag, added some enamel dots and attached it to the corner!

Oh and hey, did you see?!?!?  I've posted a fun SURPRISE RUBBER PACKAGE!!!  You choose your price and you're guaranteed at least double the value in fabulous KKS Rubber stamps!!  Head over to the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Friends FBpage and read the "pinned post" for details!!!!  But there's only a limited number available and it's while supplies last!

Who loves FLOWERS?!!

Welcome to another fun Saturday challenge at
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

This week's challenge is all about FLOWERS!!!  I love adding flowers to my designs, don't you?

For my card I used the fun new underwater stamp set by artist Cheryl Grant called KEEP SWIMMING which is now back in stock at the shop!

A made a fun watercolour background which I think turned out perfectly for this scene....lots of blue and green for the water and seaweed and stuff under the water!  I used the Lucas and the baby killer whale images which I coloured with Copic markers, cut them out and pop dotted them to make them 3D!  I used some Doodlebug papers and water drop sprinkles, orange twine and of course FLOWERS!  Lastly I stamped one of the fun sentiments that comes with the set on a speech bubble die!

I hope you can join us for this week's fun challenge!  Be sure to hop over to the KKS blog to check out MORE inspiration from the Krafty Girl design team!

Don't forget that this weekend's Frugal Friday Specials are up with a dozen of our fabby stamp sets on SALE 25-50% OFF but only for the weekend and only while supplies last!!

Happy kraftin'!

It's Wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning krafty friends!  It's time for another Wonderful Wednesday challenge!  And as always, it's Anything Goes!  So that means you can join in the fun and enter with any creation you like!

Today I'm sharing a card I made featuring the new
OCEANS OF LOVE clear stamp set, which I love!  And it appears that everyone else loves it too because it sold out after the release last month but is is NOW back IN STOCK!

I think it's all the cute chubby sea creatures and sweet sentiments!  They are great for making fun underwater scenes!

So for my card I used a watercolour background that I made with my Zig markers and a water brush on an acrylic block.  I think the technique is actually called smooshing.  It's very simple and you can make tons of different coloured designs.

Then I coloured up two of the animals with my copic markers, fussy cut them out and pop dotted them on the background.  Then I added a few sequins, stamped one of the sentiments in black and added some pink twine!  Easy peasy!

I hope you can join us for this week's challenge!  We LOVE to see what you create with your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
