Get Well House Mouse!

I'm off to work this morning, so just a quick post to tell you about this House Mouse card that I made yesterday! I think these HM stamps are just THE cutest....they are always doing the sweetest things! This one I got at Scrappin' Great Deals!!

The card base is Kraft cardstock and the designer papers are by Making Memories. I stamped the mousey on Wausau white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used my Copics of course, to colour him in. I used my Nesties to cut him out and emboss the frame and I used Pumpkin Pie for matting.

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and I stamped it right on some dp. I used my corner rounder a little bit, pop dotted everything and added a button with linen thread. The finishing touch was making the raindrops shimmery with my Stardust Sakura gel pen.




Also I got a chance to play with my new photo box that my honey made me!! Don't the photos look professional?? Well, I think they look pretty good anyway. I had to fiddle with my camera a bit to figure out how to set the white balance, but after that it worked like a charm! I want to keep whipping up cards so that I can run down and take a photo with my new lighting system! Imagine not having to wait until the sun is shining to take my pics!!
