This week's challenge over on All That Scraps is a colour challenge! I'm usually not too good with these, but I thought I would give it a whirl!!
The colour combination was to use Always Artichoke, Pink Passion and Vanilla. Well since I haven't found a vanilla cardstock that works with my Copic markers (I haven't tried really hard either because I rarely use vanilla anyway), I decided to use white instead. What can I say, I'm a rule-breaker!!
I decided to make this little gift set for the young girl who is moving out on her own to go with the card I made for her in yesterday's post. I was channeling Michelle Wooderson when I made this notecard set....oh heck, I was just downright caseing her wonderful idea!!
I made the card bases using Pink Passion and the patterned paper that I found to use is by Deja Views. I added the white layer and then the strip with Always Artichoke matting the dp. I stamped the little Snail from Froggy and Friends and stamped the sentiment 'Snail Mail' on all the envelopes. I made five notecards in total and stamped a different sentiment on each one. All of the other four sentiments I used are from the brand new CC Sentiments stamp set that will be released on Monday. I LOVE all the options for sentiments in this set!! WAIT 'til you see them!!!
I will be back again a little later with another MFTeaser, so be sure to come on back for a little look-see!!!

Gorgeous :)
OH, SUPER CUTE idea!! Love your snail and all your sayings are so great. This will surely make a wonderful gift set--I'm sure she'll LOVE it!! =)
Just adorable. I scout out Mich's blog too. She is my Inspiration Station. LOL>
This is adorable! Love the bright colors! And that snail is too cute! If you decide to buy some "vanilla" cardstock-both PTI cream cardstock and natural white from Neenah work excellent with Copics!
hi there, don't think i've ever commented on your blog before but i just wanted to say these notecards are fab! definitely think i'll be case'ing these lovelies! even if you case'd them yourself ;)
