It's Time to Crop!!
6:17 AM
Good Wednesday morning, stampers!! Well, we are almost halfway through another week, so yaaaay!
I thought I would share some details with you about a super fun event I am organizing at the St. Thomas Public Library on Saturday, November 7th from 9am-5pm!! It's the first event of it's kind at the library and I hope it will become an annual one! It's a fundraiser for the library with all proceeds going to the Revitalization Fund....we need to revitalize the library....badly! And hopefully this day will revitalize you too!!! Come on out to our first ever Scrapbookin' and Papercraftin' Crop!!!
It’s a full day of uninterrupted creative cropping time to work on your scrappin’ and cardmakin’ projects! (which means no laundry, no cooking, no dishes, no husbands and no kids!!) So bring your scrapbooks, your rubberstamps, your cardmaking and other papercrafting projects to work on your own or with friends! I’ll also be there all day for any advice and hands on assistance that you may need!
Each cropper will get her own workspace (2 people to a table at the very most), use of all provided punches, tools, cutters, etc. for the day! (I’m bringin’ a bunch of my goodies for you to play with!) Snacks and refreshments are provided, but it’s Bring Your Own Lunch. I will have a display of crafty idea books and magazines available for your use and for checkout! There will be FREE make and take projects featuring Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! And there will be door prizes!!
AND...here's the best part....there will be convenient on-site shopping as Scrappin’ Great Deals will be hangin' out with us and they'll have lots of crafty items for purchase!!
The cost for this full day of fun and creativity is only $25!! Now the space for this event is very limited, so see me at the Information Desk in the library to purchase your tickets and to reserve your spot! It will be a fun day with sharing of ideas and creativity!! Did I mention the uninterrupted cropping time and NO husband or kids?!! That alone is worth the price of admission!! Hahaha!!

Oh, you are such a tease! I live a bit too far away (sad face), but I hope that it is a wonderful day, and you make a ton of money for the library. What a wonderful thing to do, Kimmie!
I really hope the day goes well for you - I work in libraries in the UK and we would love to get people to support us like you do! We have "user" groups in the uK but all they do is moan about what is wrong, they never try and help us to put it right...and we try so hard ourselves but sometimes just dont quite get there! Well done you!

SOunds like a fabulous event Kimmie and a great cause! Good luck with it!
What a great way to raise money for the Library. Hope your event is very successful. Wish I could be there - it would be so much fun - maybe next time.
