Trick or Treat!!

When I saw Emilie's new images for our Halloween release, I gasped out loud!  These little cuties have SUCH character!  Especially this little Trick or Treater!!

This little Bumble Bee is from the new Too Cute To Spook 2 stamp set that will be released, along with ALL the other new August stamps, at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop on Saturday night at midnight!!!  What perfect timing for a Halloween release, right?!

I didn't have a lot in the way of Halloween papers as most of them haven't been released yet in Canada, so I pulled out some My Mind's Eye papers from the Fine and Dandy True Blue collection and used the orange and yellow papers.  The polka dotted paper is an older Echo Park piece and the rest is kraft cardstock.

I coloured up the image with my Copic markers and added some sparkle to her wings and antennae using my clear Spica pen.  Then I distressed all the paper edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and a sponge.  You'll notice that yummy, gauzey stuff behind the main image that gives the looks of spiderwebs!!  Well, that is actually cheesecloth that I picked up at the hardware store!  My friend and fellow Krafty Girl, Alyce Keegan uses it a lot and totally inspired me....now I want to use it on everything I make!!  Haha!

I stamped one of our awesome new Halloween Trinkets stamps on kraft and punched it out to use as my sentiment...doesn't it look perfect there?  I added some Martha Stewart bat punches here and there and then tied some black twine in a bow and dangled this awesome pumpkin charm to finish it off!!!  Perfect Halloween creation...and not too scary either!!

Below you'll find a list of all the amazing Krafty Girls who have stuff to share with you today featuring the new Too Cute to Spook 1 & 2 stamp sets AND you'll want to leave a comment on each one because I'm giving away both sets!!!!

Happy kraftin'!!
