MFTeaser Day 3!! and my Daisy Album!!!

Okay, this post will probably have the most pics of any previous post on this blog!!! hahaha!! But that's because this is a big project that I have been working on for this My Favorite Things release!!! So sit back with your cup of coffee (or glass of wine, depending on what time it is in your part of the world) and check out the pics of my little puppy album!!

I've had this idea for a while about creating a mini album all about our doggie Daisy and when Kim (The MFT Lady) sent me the new May release stamps, I was THRILLED to find two sets with dogs in them!! How perfect is that??

Even though Daisy is 5 years old, she is still our baby! We call her all sorts of names like Daisy Doo, Crazy Daisy, Daisy Duke, Daisy Maisy and some other, more choice names when we're mad at her!! Baaaahahahahaaaa!!

I started out by pulling out the thin pieces of cardboard from two of my Stampin' Up designer papers and cut them into quarters so that I had a total of eight 6x6 squares of cardstock. I covered them in an assortment of doggie patterned papers and embellishments, including lots of cute pictures of when we first got her and she was teeeeeny tiny! Feel free to click on any of the pictures to make them larger and see all the details!!

The mini set with the little boy hugging the giant dog and the dog tag shaped like a bone and all those perfect sentiments, make the new mini set, Friends Furever, a MUST have for me! I used the image and the tag several times with different sentiments throughout the book.

Of course I used the lady and the Jack Russell Terrier stamp from the new set Gone to the Dogs for the cover of the album!! It is supposed to be me and Daisy, but honestly, I don't wear skirts and heels all that often and definitely NOT while we are going for a walk!

I used a lot of doggie themed products that I have hoarded....I mean collected over the last couple of years. I used doggie papers, doggie buttons, doggie rubons, doggie brads and charms. I also found this twill ribbon covered in pawprints that I used for tabs on the side of each page. But the finished touches were really the awesome new doggie stamps from My Favorite Things! I also found this twill ribbon covered in pawprints that I used for tabs on the side of each page.

I completed the album by putting it all together with my handy dandy Bind-it-All machine! Now I have this awesome keepsake filled with Daisy's 'baby pictures'!!!

Don't forget that these stamp sets, plus an amazing travel set called Goin' Places, will be released tonight!! We are having a fun cocktail party over in the MFT Forum on SCS, from 9-11pm EST!! I am working tonight until 8:30pm, but I'll be at the party will bells on at 9pm!! I wouldn't miss it and I hope you can drop by for the fun!!! There will be lots of laughs and also find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer.

See you tonight!!!

Oh Kimmie what a fantastic mini book, i have a funny thing to tell you, your Daisy looks a little like both of boys, as a pup she looks like Pika but now with prickly ears she looks just like Gizmo...
