My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #34!!
I've had the whoooooooole weekend off and it's been wonderful!! I even have today off too! I've been able to get so much done around the house and in my craft room, not to mention all the shopping we got to do!! Yay!! Also I spent a lot of time helping Emileigh with all her many projects and papers due within in the next week before the end of school and exams! Yuck.
So I had time yesterday to make this card for this week's MFT sketch challenge over on SCS! Cindy has posted another fabby sketch and I used it with this image from the Going to the Chapel stamp set. Can you believe that I hadn't inked this one up yet??
So I stamped the bride on Wausau bright white cardstock using my fave ink with my Copic markers, Archival Brilliance Graphite Black. The dp I used is from the DCWV Nana's Nursey Baby Girl Stack and the card base is Certainly Celery. I used my Nestabilities and Cuttlebug to cut out the main image and the matting. I stamped the image and punched it out using my oval punches, added some matching pink brads and also added some really cool ribbon that I picked up in Florida. I pop dotted the sentiment layer, the main image and added Stardust Stickles on her bouquet and on the trim of her dress. I was quite happy with the way this one turned out but then I took the picture and the middle section seemed empty. Maybe I'll add some small flowers around the left bottom side of the oval. Hmmmm.
Well, I've lots to do today and I'd like to stamp a little too! Hope you have a fantastic Mondy!!

Beth said it best "sweet and elegant". I'm hoping to get to Archivers when I'm in Denver this weekend to check out some of the new paper pads.
