A Fall Fairy!

Hidee ho, krafty friends!!!  It's time for another Saturday challenge and I actually have a creation to share!  Will wonders never cease?

The challenge this week is FALL and I've used some fallish colours on my card featuring Lulu from the Fairy Friends stamp set! I used some papers from an older Doodlebug paper pad and used the rich autumn colours as my guide to colour her up!

It's a fairly simple layout....a square card with several layers of patterned paper and matting coloured cardstock.  I added some yummy silk ribbon with a double bow and added some scrumptious flowers!

Hope Your Day is MAGICAL!!!

Welcome to another week of Wonderful Wednesday challenges and as always, it's Anything Goes!!  Today I'm sharing a card I made a couple of weeks ago featuring the BELIEVE IN FAIRYTALES stamp set!  

This was actually the VERY FIRST time I tried the no lines technique!  I was sooooo super scared of doing it that I put it off and put it off.  And when I finally did it, I was so thrilled with how it turned out!!

I stamped the little princess on Copic Xpress paper using Desert Sand Memento Ink (which can usually be found in the store but I'm sold out but will have more back in soon).  Then I went about colouring the image with my Copic markers exactly as I normally would if I had been using black ink!  I coloured with markers that coordinating with the papers I used from the Sew Lovely paper pad by Echo Park!  I also coloured up the sweet little froggie....isn't he cute? I just love that the images look almost watercoloured with this effect!

Using some distress ink, I gently sponged around the paper layers, added some eyelet trim, ribbon, flower and pearls, then I popped up the two focal layers and stamped one of the sentiments! Oh and I added a bit of sparkle on the crowns and the wand using my Sakura Stardust gel pen!

 Lastly I stamped the prince and another sentiment for the inside layer as the finishing touch!

You probably know that the NEW August Release of spooky stamp sets has just been released!  One of the sets has already sold out but I'll have more early next week!  I've also released a limited edition Halloween Kard Kit and it looks like you all are lovin' it!!!  Have of them are already gone!!

Challenge 281 - Get Sporty!

Woohoo!!  I've got a card to share today!!!  The theme for this week's challenge is GET SPORTY!  I hope you can play along!

I used Lulu in her golfing outfit from the GOOD SPORTS! stamp set!  I made it for my daughter but I haven't gotten it into the mail yet, so I hope she doesn't see this!  Haha!

I used lots of Simple Stories goodies on this card....love all their coordinating embellishments and papers!  I made a regular A2 sized card with black matting and the I AM 6x6 paper pad.  She's coloured up with my copic markers and I doodled around the frame.  Then I cut up some of the words from one of the patterned papers and added them all over the place!  I used a large self adhesive brad for the I AM part and also added some enamel dots in the four corners!

Inside I added more of the cut up words and a pretty brick patterned paper with lots of hearts!!

Hello, Friend! It's Release Day!!!

It's RELEASE Day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I'm the last stop on the Krafty Hop!! I have a quick and easy card trio gift set to share with you featuring the NEW Hello, Friend! stamp set!!

I did the chalkboard technique using white craft ink and white embossing powder on black cardstock with the sentiments!!  It was my first time trying this technique and it was easy and fun!

I used black cardstock for the bases plus coordinating coloured cardstock to go with the MME designer papers!!  The layout is mainly the same but see how different each card looks with different papers, trims, sentiment shapes etc.?  These were so easy to whip up!!

February Krafty Peeks....Day TWO!! Book Pals!

Yippee!  It's peeky time for the NEW February stamp sets at 

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!  And lo and behold, I actually have some goodies to share this week!

Today we're previewing the new set of literary characters as designed by artist Cheryl Grant!  This set has Huck Finn, Laura Ingalls and the image I'm using on my card today, Pippi Longstocking!  The set is called BOOK PALS!

I stamped up Pippi and coloured her using my Copic markers.  I used our fabulous sketch for February as a square card instead of a rectangle. 

The paper pad I used is called Good Day Sunshine by Simple Stories!  I added lots of distressing and ink on the patterned paper layers and attached a crocheted flower with a brad.  Lastly I added several enamel dots by Doodlebug!

I {heart} YOU!

Just a quick post this morning sharing my card for the latest challenge at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge blog!
This week it's all about Peace and Love and I chose to use one of the stamp sets that is ON SALE right now in our Frugal Friday Specials Sale but only until tomorrow night!

I coloured up I {heart} YOU! with my copic markers to match the wonderful bright colours from the Doodlebug Hello Sunshine paper pad!  I used the sketch from Danielle's challenge from the Krafty Krop last weekend (you still have until tomorrow night to submit to any/all of the challenges).  Love this sketch!  I added some of the coordinating Bright Glitter Sprinkles, I faux stitched around the main image and paper layers using my Copic multiliner and stamped the sentiment!

With All My Heart!

I've got another card to share....woohoo!!  Look at me go!
I had such a great time taking part in ALL six of the challenges from last weekend and here is another one!

For Christine's Challenge #2, I used her fabulous sketch and her favourite colour, PINK!  I used the lovely Hannah Hearts (who is actually out of stock right now but will be coming back soon), some Doodlebug papers, Mini Doodle Pops and the Heart Sprinkles!

I coloured her up with my Copic markers, faux stitched around all the edges using my Copic multiliner, stamped the sentiment and added some wrinkled red ribbon!!  A perfect Valentine!!

We are starting something a little new to mix things up a bit. The Krafty girls LOVE a good sketch, and we hope you do too!! During the first Wonderful Wednesday challenge of each month we will share a Krafty Sketch... use it ANY time during the month for an extra chance to win!  Here's this month's sketch:

I didn't use the sketch for my card but I DID play along with Challenge #1 from the Online Krop!!  I used Tracy's sketch AND incorporated distressing!  I used the new ROCK STAR stamp set.....isn't she awesome?? I love this girl!  And the papers I used are from a My Mind's Eye pad called My Girl!  Here's the sketch (have I mentioned how much I LOVE starting off with a sketch?  For me, it makes creating so much easier!):

Let me just tell ya, there are LOTS of layers on this baby!  I used Walnut Stain ink to distress the edges and then used my scissors to rough up all the paper edges for LOTS of distressing!  I also added some black mesh trim and some sweet flowers!  And the sentiment is actually from the paper pad!

Then I went ALL out and finished the inside too using ROCKER CHICK and one of the sentiments!!!  I love the way this turned out!!

November Release Day and Krafty HOP!!!

It's time to release the NEW November sets at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I'm here with the final stop on today's krafty HOP!

I'm sharing a creation featuring the new SNOW MUCH LOVE! stamp set!!  I altered a little mini pizza box and decorated the top!  The papers I used are from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day paper pad and I also used some wooden snowflakes from the same line.

I coloured up the image using my Copics and added some clear rock candy glitter on her hat pompom and of course on the snow!  The giant snowflake is a diecut using glitter paper and I added some red ribbon with a double bow and a tag from the paper pad!  Love the way this turned out and I hope you do too!

August Krafty Peeks.....Day ONE!!! Hey There, Punkin'!!

Good morning and welcome to Day ONE of Krafty Peeks featuring the NEW August stamp sets from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Today the Krafty Girls and Guests are sharing some BOO-tiful creations with the new stamp set by artist Cheryl Grant called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'!!  It's SUPER cute!!

I'm thrilled to share my first card with this month's sets....and I actually have a new card to share EVERY day of the peeks!!  Whoohoo!  Yay me!!  This card features the adorable Lexi from the stamp set.....I love these kiddos!  She was super fun to colour up and I used my Copic markers in coordinating colours to match the fabulous new Graphic 45 Eerie Tale papers that have sold out of the shop but will soon be back in again!

I used kraft cardstock for the base and added some SU cardstock for matting!  I added a few little flags at the base of the image layer, some twine and a button across the middle and also a bunch of Wild Orchid flowers!  Lastly I stamped one of the fabulous sentiments on a kraft tag at the bottom!  So fun!

The whole set is spook-tacular!!  ;)  It features three sweet images with our fave kiddos.....Lexi, Lulu and Lucas!! There are also NINE....yes, NINE awesome coordinating sentiments! This fabulous set is called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'! and it will be released on Saturday night!!

Last Stop on the Krafty Hop!!

I'm so super excited about the NEW July rubber stamp release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.....which is NOW available!!  I just love each and every set we've got for you and I'm sure you'll agree now that you've hopped around the Krafty Girls' and Guests' blogs today and seen them all in action!!!

This is the last stop on today's celebratory HOP and I'm sharing with you this card featuring the new OH, SNAP! stamp set!!!  I think this might be my fave image EVAH!!!  

I used my new paper pad by First Edition called New Bloom.  I simply adore the colour combination and all the glittah!!  Using the colours as my jumping off point, I coloured up the sweet girlie image with my Copic markers and used my Spellbinder dies to cut her out and layer up the image.  I used SU cardstock for the base and matting and then used a die to create the heart border.  I used a combination of Prima, Petaloo and Wild Orchid flowers and pearl brads and lastly added one of the fabulous sentiments!!  Have I said that I {heart} this stamp set!!!

C'mon, C'mon...Rock That Body!!!

Heehee!  Love that song!!  Today I have an awesome new ANNIE image to share with you and it goes right along with this week's Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge!!!  All the Krafty Girls have new stamps to share and you are gonna LOVE 'EM!!  


This month, Annie has designed the perfect stamps for YOU and ME!!!  It's the EVERYDAY GIRLS Collection!  These saucy girlies could be any of us, doing everyday things!!  Going to a birthday party, shoveling snow, having a BAD hair day, SHOPPING, working out and going out on the town!!!  Just wait 'til you see them ALL as you hop around the Krafty Girls' blogs today!!  And don't forget to leave comments at every stop because TWO lucky comments are going to WIN some NEW ANNIES!!!

The challenge this week is a sketch by my PRECIOUS PAM!!!  heehee!  Love the layout and it has one of my favourite elements.....a circle!!  And the layout fits our stamps perfectly!!  Hope you can play along!

I used the new MISSY stamp....love this workout girl!!  Wish I looked that pretty when I work out....sigh.  I used some new papers from the Garden Girl collection by Bo Bunny!  Just love those colours!  I stamped Missy on Neenah white cardstock with Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copic markers!!  I used my new Nesties for the circle layer and I wish they came a bit bigger in size but the edging is nice on it.  I followed along with Pam's sketch, added some brown glitter dots in the corners and finished it off with the fun sentiment that comes along with Missy!!

Making a Friend!! Krafty Peeks...Day TWO!

Today the Krafty Girls are sharing peeks featuring the new October stamps by the lovely Emilie Goulet!!!  This month she's created five adorable stamps featuring some animals that are having a lot of snowtime fun in her WINTER WONDERLAND collection!!  Check out all of them in today's hop....they are so full of expression and personality!


My card features the new Making Freinds stamp!!  Is this little squirrel just the cutest?!  The determination on his face, mixed with the joy of playing in the snow!  (Can't say that's the look that you'll find on my face when I'm knee deep in the white stuff in my driveway!)  He's just having a ball building that snowman!!

I stamped him on Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured him up with my Copic markers.  The papers I used are from the Echo Park Season's Greetings 6x6 pad and I coloured the scarf to match the plaid pattern on the paper.  I wanted the image to be the focal point of the card, so I didn't get too fancy with the layout or the embellishments.  I just added a poinsettia with leaves attached with a glitter brad and the sentiment I used comes with Skiing Miles and I put it on a little flag and added a couple of red rhinestones.  That's it!!  But I love the way it turned out!

A Cup of Cozy Wishes!! Krafty Peek Time!

I can't believe we're over halfway through October already!!  And the weather has really started to turn here in Ontario!  Brrr!  The only good thing about time moving so quickly is that it's once again time for NEW Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!


We are starting this month's Krafty Peeks off with some adorable Snowpeople stamps from Cheryl Alger!!  There is a cute little trio of fluffy winter friends to share today....and you will see them all as you hop around to the Krafty Girls' blogs today!  The entire list of stops is over at the Challenge Blog!  Be sure to leave comments at each and every stop too, because one lucky stamper will win the whole trio of today's stamps!!!  EEEEEEEE!


Now, I have to preface my card unveiling with the fact that I'm sick.  So because I've been under the weather for over a week now (not to mention completely wiped out from our Krafty Day event over the weekend), I'm not really thrilled with the way my card turned out.  But hey, it doesn't have any cough syrups stains or kleenex debris on it, so let's call it a win!!

The stamp I used is called A Cup of Cozy Wishes and comes with the coordinating sentiment!  I just love the scarf and skirt on this snowlady, not to mention the gigantic cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream on top!!!  Mmmmmm!  I stamped her up on Neenah cardstock and coloured her up with my Copic markers.


The patterned paper I used is from the new Holly Jolly Christmas 6x6 pad from Echo Park....such fun colours!  I used bright pink cardstock and matching wrinkled ribbon across the middle.  I cut out and embossed the image with my Nesties and sponged around the frame while it was still in the die.  Then I added some Stardust Stickles on the snow and on her hat pompom.  I really love the layers of snowflakes cut from glitter paper and attached with a red glitter brad.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment on the bottom!  

These stamps, along with all the other new ones we'll be sharing this week, will be available on SUNDAY at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!
