Angels Everywhere!!

I had so much fun on my day off yesterday! I got to play with these new images from CCDesigns!! Only they aren't stamps!! What??...you say! Nope! They are downloadable digital images!! At first I was like, mmmm....if they aren't rubber, I can't play with them! I'm such a rubber snob!! Hahaha!! But I did and it was fun!!

Here is what Christine, designer and artist extraordinaire, tells us about these new images:

A new digi downloadable set of images will be available Monday night at 10:00pm EST, along with our new release of rubber stamp sets. In the downloadable set you will receive 7 different Angels and 1 sentiment. Each Angel and the sentiment can be printed by itself, and also included is the Angels and sentiment on one sheet so you can easily print them out all at once.

The downloadable file is emailed to you after you purchase the set. Once received, simply unzip the file and save the images to your computer. To use the images open the file with your favorite picture editing software, resize the images and print them out on your favorite cardstock!

It really IS that easy!! I just printed the images out on my Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured them with my Copic markers!! The ink didn't bleed or anything...and that was my biggest concern. I pulled out these awesome papers by SEI (that I've had in my stash for quite some time) and coloured three of my little angels. I used my Nestabilities to cut them out and emboss them along with a scalloped circle mat.

I wanted to use basically the same layout but with different papers and different sentiments. Everything was going smoothly until my sewing machine decided to chew them all up! So, you will notice that one card has stitching and the rest do not. Guess I know what to put on my Christmas list, huh? But I think they are adorable, even without the stitching, don't you??? I honestly LOVE these angels!!! I finished them off by pop dotting everything, adding ribbon across the middle and sparkling up their wings and halos with my Sakura Stardust gel pen.

The sentiments that I used are all CCDesigns stamps. One is from Sugarplum Sentiments, one is from Cupcake Occasions and the other is from Forest Friends. The two latter sets are being released tonight along with these digi images!!

Be sure to join us tonight at 8pm EST in the ATS Forum where we will chat and share samples with the sets going live at 10pm EST!! Now the stamps you order will have to be shipped out to you, but just think, if you purchase the Angels set, it will be emailed to you and you can start playing right away!!! How's that for instant gratification!!?

Well, I'm off to work this afternoon and evening, but I'll be at the party as soon as I'm done! See you there!!!

I might have to try that out! I can't believe it doesn't bleed-that's awesome!
Storage is such a huge issue...if images are stored on your computer...that just saves so much physical space in my too small scrap room. :O)
Thanks for sharing Kim-you are a wealth of knowledge.
