CCDesigns December Release Party!!

Well, Christmas dinner was great yesterday! We had a lovely meal with lots of turkey, stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes, squash and so much more! Presents were opened and good tidings were shared. No major catastrophes, so that's always a plus. And it's over for another year!

My stamp and scrapbook sale was a huge success! Lots of ladies came and spent and some even stayed to visit!! My new long lost sister, Andrea stayed and chatted a while and had some tea! My husband got to see that I'm not the only one who is obssessed with ink and rubber....it's a sickness for us! *giggle*

Anyway, on to the cards! Today there will be a wonderful new release by CCDesigns at All That Scraps!! There will be a new Brandon and Sadie stamp by Jen Ofiana, and three new sets by Christine! There will be Sugarplum Snowmen, Sugarplum Scenery and Winter Bear sets all in rubber. Also there will be several digi downloads sets available tonight!!!

For my two cards, I used Sugarplum Snowmen. The first one features one of the snowmen and I thought he looked like he was dancing around in the snow and throwing his arms up in the air because he loves snow!! So I stamped him and all the hearts on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured them in using my Copic markers. I used my Nesties to cut it out and emboss the frame.

The patterned papers I used are by Paper Adventures and the card base is Riding Hood Red with Chocolate Chip accent pieces. I sponged around the dp with Walnut Stain distress ink, stamped the sentiment on the bottom and added some taffeta ribbon. I pop dotted the main layer and added Stardust Stickles to the snow and the man. Oh and the sketch that I used is from last week's challenge on Our Creative Corner.....yes, I'm late again...what's your point??

This second card is using the same set but this time I used the image of Christopher making a snowman. I used coordinating dps by Scenic Route, Pumpkin Pie for the base and Soft Sky to accent. I used one of my new Nesties turned on it's corner and pop dotted it and then pop dotted the main image as well. I added Basic Grey brads, grosgrain ribbon and attached an oval tag with linen thread with the cute Got Snow? sentiment.

There are so many other stamps in the set including Olivia skating! You'll have to swing by the party tonight on the ATS Forum, to check them all out!!

Be sure to stop back here later today, as I'll have an MFTeaser for you!!
