HH Challenge #12!!!

Well, it's finally time for the first High Hopes Challenge of 2009!! Honestly, I've been missing doing them over the holidays and I bet you have too!!

This week's challenge is to use torn paper somewhere on your card! I have a bit of a struggle with this as I like to have all my edges straight and even, so my torn bit is only a tiny one...heehee!

I made this card for Emileigh for Valentine's Day, so I hope she doesn't see this! Who am I kidding?? She's too busy on MSN and Facebook and listening to her Ipod to care what her mother has posted on her blog!!! hahahaaaaaa!

I stamped the Kissy Face Frog on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured him and his smooshy lips in using Copic markers. The card base is Cameo Coral and the green cardstock is Gable Green. I stamped the Swirly Hearts Background on a layer of white and sponged around the edges with Cameo Coral ink.

I layered the frog on Gable Green and tore the bottom, then added some Papertrey Ink ribbon, some glittery brads and some sparkle to his lips with my Sakura Stardust gel pen. Then I pop dotted the main image.

I stamped the first half of the Not a Geek sentiment at the bottom of the front and stamped the rest of it inside along with a couple of hearts and a Valentine's sentiment too.

I hope it makes her giggle when she opens it up! She has a very nice boyfriend and he is definitely NOT a geek!
