Spring is in the Air!!!

Well, even though it snowed a little bit last week, it's lookin' like spring might actually be showing it's face around the Ontario area these days!! Yesterday was a gorgeous sunny day and I saw people in capri pants and even shorts!! Yes, we are Canadian, so if it's above zero, nice and sunny and there's no snow...we don't mind shedding the excess clothing!! Not me, mind you! I have a few pounds to lose before that happens!!!

So since spring seems to be in the air, I thought I would share this Lizzie Anne Designs card today, as the colours are so soft and it just makes me feel like the warmer weather is on it's way!!

I stamped this flower shop image from the LAD set Welcome Home and coloured it in with my Copics. I chose my colours using the amazing Chloe's Closet dp by Making Memories as a guide. The card base is Soft Sky and I also used Groovy Guava for matting. I found some Prima flowers that matched perfectly and attached them with button brads. I stamped the sentiment from Say it in Script directly on some of the polka dot dp, added some stitched grosgrain ribbon and pop dotted the main image!! You likey???

Well, I am working all day at the library today and then I'm rushing home, stuffing down some supper and then teaching a class at Scrappin' Great Deals at 7pm. There are still a few spots left if you'd like to join us!!! It's gonna be FUN!!!

Have a stampin' good day!!
