High Hopes Challenge #26!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful long Easter weekend with family! Did the Easter Bunny come to your house this morning? We're a little too old in this family to still practice that tradition and for the teenager in this house, she's lookin' for a little more than chocolate anyway! Haha! Maybe I should put the $$ in one of those plastic eggs and hide it in the backyard...make her work for it at least! haha!!

This week's High Hopes Challenge is to Pierce It!!!
You can pull out your paper piercers, your sewing machines or just a needle and your mat pack, like I did...just make sure that your design incorporates some piercing!

I pulled out this wonderful Froggy Gift image, which I inked up for the very first time and stamped it on my new fave paper....Canson 150lb Drawing paper. I used these Summer Picnic papers by SU for inspiration and coloured him in with my Copic markers. I used Kraft cardstock for the 6x6 base and the layout is a Kimmie original....feel free to use it...hehe!

I used my Nesties to cut and emboss the image and used Bashful Blue to mat him on. I added a trio of different sized buttons with linen thread and stamped the sentiment and pop dotted it!

Hop on over to the High Hopes Blog and check out all the other pierced creations and then be sure to join us in the challenge! You could win some awesome rubbah!!!

Happy Easter!!

Gorgeous coloring Kimmie! I love your choice of saying with that image too and how you stamped it on a blue panel! I love the three sizes of buttons, and how you put piercing all along the outside edge. Sweet card! Great layout too!

Your work is just so amazing. I am trying to catch up on all of my blog viewings so I am just going to comment once on here but I have looked through your projects for the last couple of days and they are all just wonderful. I love your coloring style. It's so deep and rich. Loved the Anya card with the soft colors and then the bright bold colors of the High Hopes card. Thanks for being such a great inspriation.
xoxo, Christine
