If the Shoe Fits!!

Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. Yesterday we had my parents over for a visit and we had a barbecue, played some games....it was lots of fun. Today is actually a holiday for me from the library which is really nice. I have lots of stamping samples to make.....the new High Hopes release is coming up on Sunday....have I mentioned that?? NO? Well, you can start looking for some sneaky peeks starting on Thursday! Guess I'd better get busy, huh?

Today's card is one of the favourite cards in my stash lately. I used one of my new Miss Anya stamps on my fave new Canson paper the other day. Aren't the colours just scrumptious??? The card base is Barely Banana, which is one that I rarely use, and the accent cardstock is Regal Rose. All the dps are by Dream Street Papers and I got them at Stampingbella a few weeks ago.

I coloured Anya in using my Copic markers, of course, and I was able to do some fun shading and added a light wash of light blue around her hair/shoulder area and around the bottom of the bags. I attached some yummy Prima flowers using yellow glitter brads and also added some jewellery spacers in the flowers. The ribbon is from a stash of some that were given to me, so I have no idea where it came from, but isn't it lovely? I added the shoe charm (also from Stampingbella) to go with the awesome AmyR sentiment....If the shoe fits, buy one in every color. Bahahahaaaaaaa! Hmmm. For some reason I have the urge to go shopping.....

Have a spectacular Monday!!!
