High Hopes Challenge #30!!

Well, Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there! I'm a little late with my post this morning because I actually got to sleep in!! Can you believe that?? My day is starting out right, anyway!!

This week's challenge over at the High Hopes blog is to make 'One for the Boys'!! It's sometimes a challenge for me to create cool designs for guys, but with some of the great images but High Hopes, it can be a lot of fun!

I used the Carpenter Ant image from the latest release of stamps. I used some retired SU designer papers, as I thought the colours would be perfect for the image. I love it when I can use up older stuff and not always play with the 'new stuff'. The card base is a 6x6 Pumpkie Pie square and I matted with Blue Bayou.

Of course I used my Copics to colour him up and added some antique copper brads in all four corners. I added some ribbon tags and also this fun sentiment. Then I pop dotted everything and added a quick photo corner die cut sticker. Now he's ready to get busy building!!

Well, I've got my coffee, I'm in my comfy clothes and I'm in my craft room. What more could a girl ask for?? I plan to spend my day gettin' inky and hopefully somebody will slip me some food every few hours! Haha! Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!!
