Mermaid Emma!!!

What could be cuter than a Mermaid Sugarplum, I ask you!?? I've had this card made for weeks and I've been staring at it in my craft room and wishing I could share it with you! Finally, I've got the green light!

This set is one of the July Releases from CCDesigns! We'll be having a little party in the ATS Forum on Monday evening and then you'll be able to get your inky fingers on all of the awesome new stamps!!

I knew exactly what I wanted to create with Emma the minute I pulled her out of the mailbox a few weeks ago. I had just picked up the new Pretty Please papers by My Mind's Eye and knew they would be perfect!! The card base is Sparkle Bazzill Bling, which I also used for the border at the bottom, punched out with my Fiskars wave border punch.

I stamped the underwater scenery on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured it in using my Copic markers. I coloured the sand in E31, then dotted it with a few different darker browns along with a warm grey to make it look like real sand. I also dotted the starfish with the warm grey as well to give it a little texture. I stamped Emma and the fish separately, coloured them in and cut them out. I pop dotted Emma and added some sparkle to her pearls with my Clear Spica pen. The pearls are shaded with R000 to give them a pink hue. I pop dotted the main layer, attached some Bo Bunny flowers with glitter brads, paper pierced a row along the bottom and added an Underwater Sentiment (which is also a new release set). I just lovey Mermaid Emma!!
