Challenge 37 - Let's Get PINK!!!
6:00 AM
Are ya beatin' the heat?? I sure hope so! It's been a rather steamy week here in Ontario but it seems to be cooling down a bit thank goodness. I'm SO grateful for central air conditioning!! Especially at night!
Well, it's the end of my first week working from home full time and I can already see how much more work I'm able to get done without have to drop everything and go to that pesky library! Heehee! I've even worked ahead on most of my sample cards for next weekend's July release. What?? I didn't mention that next week we start the Krafty Peeks for our next release?? Well, goodness me!! How rude!! Start lookin' for samples from all the Krafty Girls on Thursday with the Blog Hop and Release on Sunday!! Yeehaw!! We've got some super new images in store for ya!
Okay, so back to my card for the challenge! This week our hostess is the ever-so-cheeky Andrea!! Hehe! She has chosen to ask us to Get PINK!! Well, that's an easy one for me because I LOVES me some PINK!! And there are so many shades to choose from! I decided to use my new fave pink from SU, Rich Razzleberry!!

I stamped little Miss Alicia the Strawberry Pirate on Neenah and coloured her with my Copics. Then I used my Nesties AND used some Spun Sugar distress ink using my Tim Holtz distress ink applicator thingie! I've had it and the fancy mat and a bunch of the inks for ages, but I've never used them! So I pulled them out this time and man, do I love it!! Gonna use them more often!
So I used black for the card base and the main patterned paper has shiny silver skulls and bones on it and I added a beautiful rhinestone bling and some velvet rick rack. I used one of the phrases from the Pirate Sentiments set AND this awesome iron on pink skull doodad that my pal, Krista gave me when she was here a few weeks back. Perfect!!!

So be sure to join us for this week's challenge and you could win some rubber goodness! Now go hop on over to the challenge blog and check out the perfectly pink samples from the Krafty Girls!!
Have a super week!!

Hi Kim. This is just wonderful. I love her in pink...I am like you, I have the fancy mat and the inks, but I never seem to use them. I guess I will have to give it a try now. Hugs, Lisa G
