Stamping....JUST BECAUSE!!!
Yesterday morning, I woke up early and decided that since I had an extra hour with the time change and all, I would STAMP!! Yep! For no good reason either....just BECAUSE!!! Not for a deadline, not for a preview or a release....just because! And it was so much fun!!
So I pulled out the new Sending Winter Hugs stamp from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October release (since I knew how quick he would be to colour up) and got busy!! I was trying to get something done while everyone else in the house was still sleeping!!
I grabbed some retired SU patterned paper that was handy and coloured up my snowman in matching Copic colours and then stamped a blotchy stamp in Soft Sky around the edges. The sketch is the new Sketch For You To Try and as soon as I saw it, I knew this stamp would be perfect!!
The card base is krafty and I used just some red for matting the main layer. I added some olive seam binding ribbon and a little tag with some twine. The PEACE word comes in our Holiday Sentiments set but this stamp actually comes with the Sending Winter Hugs sentiment as well and the whole thing is only $6! Lastly I added some Stardust Stickles to sparkle him up!!

Adorable Kimmie! I went and bought Photoshop to try and take better pictures with my extra hour, hopefully it was worth it! Got my stamps today and LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Well, I'm certainly glad that you got up and decided to stamp! How good for me.. . . . .because I get to see this stunning card. Snowmen are pretty plain most of the time, but I tell you, he ISN'T! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his scarf. Such gorgeous colors. Thank goodness for DST! Love it Kimmie! So THRILLED to see you join in on the SMThursday fun this week at Sassy Cheryl's.!!!!!!!

Love the card and the extra touches to the snowman with the glitter. I think the sketch is perfect for the card. Glad you got to stamp just to stamp.
