Rainy Day Bella!

I was part of an image swap recently and I pulled out one of the images I received to play with the other day! Can you believe I don't have Billybootabella?? Isn't she too cute? Well, now I really want her!!

I knew exactly what I wanted to make this card with!! I got the Spring Stack from DCWV when I was in Florida and it has some awesome patterned paper including this 'sky' paper! I ran it through my Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirl embossing folder. I got my colour inspiration from the American Crafts ribbon which I used on the side there. I coloured my image in using SU markers in Cameo Coral, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana and Blush Blossom. I stamped 'spring' from Everyday Flexible Phrases along the side and used the coordinating cardstock to mat her, then pop dotted it. I then used my Cuttlebug diecuts to make the flower and used an SU brad in the middle!!

Those colours together just make me feel happy and springy (even though I had to clear a couple of inches of snow off my car yesterday morning....ugh!!)!
