It's New Year's Eve!!!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post over the weekend, but it was another busy one!! I worked until late on Friday night, then all day on Saturday and Emileigh had a friend sleep over Saturday night. Then on Sunday we all went to London to the stores to exchange a few things and do a little shopping. It was very busy as I expected during Boxing Week. I did get a chance to use a couple of 50% off coupons at Michael's though, so that was nice. It's great to drag along........I mean, have my loving family along.......to use the extra coupons for me!! Heehee!

This card was made a couple of weeks ago when I got my new Magnolias. I wanted to use the tree along with one of my new Tildas, so I used Tilda in the Wind.....at least that's what I call her! I stamped Tilda first and then stamped her again on a spare piece of copy paper. I cut that out and then masked her while stamping the tree overtop. I pulled out a piece of Daisy D's paper and used the colours from that to colour her in with some Prismacolour pencils and OMSpirits. I doodled a wavy frame, shaded around Tilda and the tree with my Sahara Sand marker, added some Stickles on her wings, some Prima flowers with brads in the corners and also a swirly clip with ribbon on the top.

I guess it's time to change my banner back to the plain old boring one that comes with the blog. I'm just 'digitally challenged' when it comes to making stuff like that. I gave the digital scrapbooking a try once and it's just no use. I love all the cool banners that other people have on their blogs and I'd love to make a pretty one of my own to show my personality, but I'm useless. If anyone can do that sort of stuff and would like to give me a little tutorial on how to make an easy one, I'd be really super thankful!! *batting eyelashes here*

Well, this is my last post for this year!! 2007 has brought a lot of new friends and new opportunities for me and I am ever so grateful!! I can't wait to find out what this year has in store!! Have a safe but fun time tonight, whether you go out dancin' or stay home and play games and watch movies (which is what we'll probably do)!! Best wishes to you for a happy and healthy 2008 and may it be filled with lots of stampin' creativity!!!! MWAH!!!! xoxoxox

This is adorable! I love the scene that you made and I am still so wanting some Tilda stamps! I, too, am digitally challenged to say the least but I actually purchased a digital banner from this site and it was very reasonable and easy to do.

Man perfect evening ruined by the TV crashing and burning. That would tic me off, but I'm sure you probably found something else to do. I knew I liked this image, yeah duh, it's the Project of the Month -- cute card!

I just love the cards you made lately, as I admire them all but these Magnolias are just so sweet. This one in particular with the windy scene is absolutely delish...
