Watercoloured Wellies!!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day here in Ontario and today is supposed to be more of the same. In the afternoon, Al and I went over to London....he took me to Michael's to use my coupon....isn't he the best? I didn't get anything really exciting, but it was nice to go over there. Then on the way home we stopped at a park, went for a walk and took some pictures.

I was able to make about 4 cards yesterday morning before we went anywhere. Then in the evening (after Big Brother, of course) I packaged a bunch of them up. Some were commissioned by Phebe at The Town Scrapper, so I've made up an envelope to mail to her today. The rest I packaged up with envelopes to take to work. My card basket at work has been depleted considerably, so I needed to replenish it.

Here is another stab at the watercolouring thing. This is Tilda in her wellies again. I stamped her on SU watercolour paper and used a watercolour brush and my SU reinkers to 'paint' her. I used the patterned paper from the Happy Me SS kit....can't believe I still have some left, 'cause I love it so much!! I also used coordinating Groovy Guava and Soft Sky dp and added some grosgrain ribbon and some metal embellishments. I really love the ribbon sliders by SU, but I rarely use them because I don't wanna run out! Isn't that referred to as hoarding??? Heehee! Also the sentiment is from Papertrey.

I have to work this afternoon, so I'll see what I can get done before then. Have a wonderful day!!

Ijust love those magnolia stamps! YOu are such a great "watercolorer" - does that word even exist? Anyway, your work is so inspiring... I think I might watercolor a little this week! I spent 3 1/2 hours in Michael's yesterday... they had a grand opening for the store that is only 10 minutes from my house... so enabling... oh well. :)
Have a great day!

You're watercoloring is wonderful, it doesn't look to me like you need any practice at all! Tilda is so sweet and the colors are fabulous! Have a super day!
