Post Number Two for Monday!!!

Haha! I've got so much going on right now that I thought I would post something extra today!!!

You see my Magnolia Summer Stamp Club Kit arrived in my mailbox on Friday which was FABULOUS!!! I SO love every image in this Kit!! (If you've ever thought about ordering the seasonal kits, do it!!! It is such a good value!! I paid $48CDN and got 15 stamps which works out to about $3.20 per stamp!!! AND 6 of them were Tildas and Edwins!!!) But they come unmounted rubber and I, having just mounted a gazillion High Hopes stamps, had no EZmount left!!! Needless to say, I was bummed!

I was stamping away on Friday and Saturday morning, then my wonderful Stubby (that's Stampin' Hubby) asked me if I wanted to go shopping in the US!! Of course I said YES!!! So we drove the hour and a half and the first place I stopped was Mary Maxim!!! I picked up 7 new Copic markers in colours that I don't yet have AND I found some sheets of EZmount!!! Yippeeeee!!!

SO, I mounted all my stamps yesterday morning and had some fun playing with them in the afternoon, while waiting for my Baby to get home from her week away camping!!! Yep, she finally got home around 4:30 yesterday and looked great and refreshed and tanned and I missed her SO much!!! It's good to have her home again!!!




Anyway, back to the card!!! I decided to make a Thank You card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge and I chose this dp by Autumn Leaves because it has the stark contrast of the black running through it with the soft colours too. I stamped this lovely Tilda on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured her in with my Copic markers. The sentiment is by Gina K. and I used my Rectangle Nestabilities to cut and emboss the image and the black mat. The card base is a 5 1/4 square in Basic Black and the pink is by Papertrey. I tied some wide organdy black ribbon around the middle, pop dotted Tilda, added Prima flowers with black glitter brads and added Stardust Stickles to her wings.
