Birthday Wishes for Marg!!
Today is my mother-in-law's birthday, so I made her this card featuring one of the new Tilda stamps...this one holding a delicious pie!! Marg makes the best pies at holiday time!!
Also this week's Dutch Dare challenge was to make a girl card.....and Marg may be turning 71 today, but she's still a girl!!!
I pulled out some patterned paper from the DCWV Fall Stack and it has all these soft, autumn colours that I really like. The card base is a Chocolate Chip 6x6 square and I used Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal and So Saffron cardstock as different accent layers.
The sentiment is from the fabulous new Sugarplum Sentiments by CCDesigns! I pop dotted Tilda, attached some yummy Prima flowers with glittery brads, made her wings sparkly with Stardust Stickles and added some highlights using white acrylic paint. I hope she likes it!!!
Well, I'm off to work the late shift today and all day tomorrow....yuck!!! Hope you get some time to stamp!!

Totally cute! Great work. :)
This Tilda stamp is soooo cute.
Oh my goodness Kimmie, it's wonderful, I love the colors and funky flowers:-)
Totally cute Card! Love the coloring, and how you put it all together with the fall papers. Still soft and definitely a great Birthday Card...
Very very sweet!
Many Blessings,
M.
beautiful card xx
Lovely card, I'm sure your mum-in-law loved it.
Oh, I saw that you love JK Rowling, me too, if you don't have anything to read at the moment pick up Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It is a saga, there are 4 books and they are so good! I too loved Harry Potter and was addicted, I'm even more addicted to the Twilight Saga (it is #1 on NYT Bestsellers List) just thought you might enjoy a suggestion and if you read it (I'm reading the saga for a 3rd time!) let me know. I've been suggesting it to people who love JK Rowling.
Hugs,
Stephenie
BTW I love your blog and cards! SO beautiful!
Awwww....this is so sweet! Your coloring is fabulous!
She's adorable! I'm going to have to try the stickles on their wings. I'm sure she'll love it!
