Rolling Pin Tilda

Okay, anyone who knows me, knows I hate the kitchen! I hate to cook, I hate to bake, I hate doing the dishes that come with cooking....I only like to eat! My favourite 'baking', is the Pillsbury cookies that you cut off the roll and bake in 10 minutes. That's gourmet baking to me!!

But I am just in love with the latest baking Tildas!! This little cutie has a rolling pin! The card base is a 5 1/4 square Bashful Blue and I used Really Rust and Apricot Appeal as accents. I stamped Tilda on Wausau bright white paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in using my Copic markers.

I used my fancy new Copic airbrush tool on the Nestabilities layer. I used white cardstock to make the circle layer and while I still had the Nestabilities frame on it, I airbrushed a light blue all over it and when I took the frame off of it, it looks like there is a white embossed frame all around it. It was my first effort, so the spraying isn't totally even, but not bad.

I added some metal corner embellishments from the dollah store, some blue gingham ribbon from American Crafts and a small piece of SU grosgrain. Then I attached lots of yummy Prima hydrangeas with Basic Grey brads. I pop dotted Tilda and added Stardust Stickles to her wings and some highlights with white acrylic paint. Ain't she cute??

Well, I have today off from work....yippeeeeee!! So I'll be stampin' my little heart out...in between loads of laundry! Then tomorrow I'm off to the Sarnia Scrapbook Show!! There are going to be lots of great vendors there including The Town Scrapper (who by the way, has lots of Magnolias, CCDesigns, MFT, Hannas, High Hopes etc.)!!! I can't wait!!

Have a super stampy day!!
