Spooky, Spooky, Spooky!!!

Today's CCDesigns Preview is for this cutie-patootie set called Spooky, Spooky, Spooky!! Only they aren't spooky at ALL! The set features Lucky the adorable puppy dog and his friend, the roly poly teddy bear!!! They are just TOO cute to be spooky!!!

For the first card, I used a rather frightened Lucky and the adorable spider.....did I just call a hairy arachnid, adorable?? YEP, I did!! I made the square base using Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the dp is by Imaginisce. I distressed the dp and added some purple polka dotted ribbon. I coloured the image using my Copics, of course, matted the main image on Kiwi Kiss and pop dotted it. Then I added some new Prima flowers that I picked up at Michael's the other day with my coupon and attached them with a purple glitter brad!!

The second card features Lucky with his pal Bear, all dressed up as a vampire for Hallowe'en! I sewed (yes, I sewed again) the dp to the Real Red layer and attached it to the Basic Black base. I made a moon using a circle punch and So Saffron cardstock and sponged all around the edges, then stamped the sentiment on top. I added that adorable spider again along with a couple of pudgy bats! I finished it off with a couple of green Basic Grey brads and there ya have it!!



Christine is SUCH a fabulous artist and even the spooky stuff she draws, comes out cute as a button....just the way I like it!! I'm not into all the creepy, scary parts of Hallowe'en and that's what I like about her designs. I can send these cards to little kids, big kids, REALLY big kids and they are perfect for everyone!!
