HH Challenge #11!!

Today is our last High Hopes Challenge for this year, so I hope you can all play along! We want you to use some Flower Power on your card this time!

I felt like making a Valentine's card this week and I pulled out Abigail and Albert to make a lovey little scene!

I stamped them on SU watercolour paper using Versafine Black Onyx ink and coloured them in using SU markers this time. I like to go back and use this medium every once in a while. I really love working with the thick SU paper and the markers are so vibrant on it. The papers that I used are coordinating ones from the DCWV Spring Stack and I thought the pastel colours would be nice for this design. The card base is Regal Rose and I used Pink Pirouette to mat the main image and Pretty in Pink to stamp the sentiment on.

I pop dotted the main image, added lots of Prima hydrangea flowers and some pretty pastel brads. The pretty silver centers you see are some fancy jewellery spacers that I picked up at Michael's. I have seen a lot of the European cardmakers using similar embellishments, so I thought I would try them out.

Now head on over to the High Hopes Blog and check out the wonderful designs made by the other Divas! And be sure to join in this week's challenge for a chance to win some HH stamps!!!
