Birds of a Feather!

Today's card is from the Lizzie Anne Designs set, L'Amour! Doesn't that just sound romantic?? It has a lot of hearts and lovey sentiments in it, but I wanted to use the bird. Of course, it has hearts on it's feathery tail, which makes it so pretty!

I pulled out some sparkly dp from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack by DCWV and used Cameo Coral for the card base and Certainly Celery for the matting and leaves. I stamped the bird on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured her in with my Copic markers. I used some stripey ribbon by May Arts and added Prima flowers that matched perfectly! I also pulled out my new leaf punch by Martha Stewart and layered a few of them beneath the flowers. Then, as usual, I pop dotted everything!!

Oh and wanna know what else??? This particular set just happens to be on sale right now over at LAD!!!

I have a few more cards using this versatile set, but I'll post them later on this month!! I'm off to work this afternoon and *hopefully* they've got the watermain fixed now so that we can go back to work. I'm sure you can picture me rolling my eyes and having my fingers crossed while saying this! HA!! NOT!
