Are you beginning to think that I'm a party animal?? I'm really not....but this week has been rather busy online party-wise! This will make the 4th release for me this week!!! Yikes!! Last night's MFT bash was a hoot as usual, with lots of samples, lots of yakkin' and laughing. And tonight will be no different, only it will be over at the LAD Forum!! Hope you can make it!!

I'm going to show you a card I made using the Welcome Home set. I showed you one using one of the houses, now here is one using the single tree with a tire swing on it. It's a very simple image but I'm super happy with how it turned out.

I stamped the image a couple of times on Wausau bright white cardstock, coloured it with Copics and cut just the top of one of the trees out. I pop dotted it on top of the other completed one and matted it on Almost Amethyst. The card base is AA too and the dp is by Stampin' Up. I sewed a couple of the large layers together using So Saffron as a complimentary colour (lovin' my sewing machine right now.....until it decides to eat my paper again). I used the Welcome Home sentiment and punched it out with my small oval punch and pop dotted it. I added some lilac ribbon from MFT, added some yellow brads and pop dotted the focal layer.




I'm just so impressed with the clean and simple designs of the Lizzie Anne stamps. I'm going to TRY to do some simpler cards with less layers when I get some time.......I said TRY, I don't know how successful I will be, because you KNOW how I like my layers!!! They say 'less is more' but for me, 'more is more'.....especially when it comes to stamps!! hahaha!!
