Pink Gem Dragon!

I got to fool around with some new stamps the other day. I got them at The Town Scrapper and they are called Pink Gem Designs! The are cute and whimsical ...... and you know what a sucker I am for cute and whimsical!!

I'm particularly fond of this sweet dragon....I think his name is Denny. They are clear stamps and they come in singles.....I got a few...hehe. I decided to play with this one first.

The dps I used are from an 8x8 package that I picked up at Target over a year ago, but the colours in it are so soft and warm. I used Chocolate Chip for the base, Brocade Blue, Sage Shadow and Bashful Blue for matting. I used my Copic markers for colouring and tried a new technique for the 'cloudy' look around him. I actually tried it twice and this was the better of the two....not so sure if I like it or not.




I attached some Prima hydrangeas with blue rhinestone brads and added some sparkle to the rose and the heart clouds with my Stardust Sakura gel pen. The sentiment is by Whiff of Joy.

I'm not working until later on today, so I'm hoping to get a few more things done in the craft room. There's a new CCDesigns release coming up on Monday and the sneak peeks start on Thursday, so stay tuned for some cute stuff!!!
