Good morning, stampers! It's a little cooler here in Ontario today, but I'm happy anyway. Wanna know why? Because today is my last day of work before 10 whole days of holidays!!! yaaaaay!! I'm excited!

My card today makes me think of hot summer days that are soon to come! The new Surfer Ian stamp came from The Town Scrapper and I know she has a bunch more of the new ones and some older ones, so give Phebe a call to find out what she has in the store right now. The patterned paper is from Phebe too and I believe it's by WeRMemorykeepers. The colours went really well with this image, I think.

I stamped Ian on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured him in with coordinating Copic markers. The images by The Greeting Farm are so much fun to colour! Then I cut Ian out. The card base is Gable Green with So Saffron for matting. I took some Bashful Blue cardstock and cut it out with a wavy Creative Memories template and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls embossing folder. I sponged the edges with BBlue ink and then layered them on the bottom edge of the card, pop dotting the top layer and adding some yellow scrapper's floss. I stamped a great Beachy Sentiment by CCDesigns and punched it out with my oval punches, pop dotted it and also Ian himself!!



Well, I'm off to work and get stuff cleared off my desk and out of my in basket before I get to relax for a week! We won't be going to far this week as Emileigh is still in school but we may be doing some day trips and a bunch of stuff around the house. I hope to get a bunch of stamping done too!! Yay!!
