Rainy Day Anya!

It's Friday........booooooo! Haha! Bet ya thought I'd say, yay, didn't ya?? Well, not this time, because it means that my week of holidays is almost over! Only a couple of days left, then back to work. Hmph.

I scooped up the new Teen Anyas called Rain, Snow, Shine from The Town Scrapper a couple of weeks ago and I finally had a chance to play with one. I also got this sweet designer paper from Stampin' Up and thought it would go perfectly with the springy, girly image.

The card base is a 6x6 Kraft square card with Old Olive, Cameo Coral and Rose Red for matting and accents. I stamped Rainy Day Anya on Wausau bright white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with coordinating Copic markers. I used my Apron Lace border punch and added some sheer green ribbon. I pop dotted the main layer and attached some Prima hydrangeas with Basic Grey brads. The sentiment is by MFThings.

For those that are interested, here are the Copic markers I used: E000, E00, R30, E30, E31, YG93, R21, R32, RV34, RV19, N0.

Well, I have a few errands to run today and hopefully it's going to warm up. The whole week has been rather dreary and overcast, so it would be nice if we had a sunny day or two before it's over. Hope you have a wonderful Friday!!

Motivet Monday!

Well, the weekend is over and it's the start of another week. Monday again. But this Monday, I have something new for you! The Town Scrapper is now carrying a new line of stamps called Motivet that feature these cute little squirrels! They are very different from anything else out there now, aren't they?

The images come as bare rubber, so I put it on clingmount and then stamped it on Wausau with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The patterned paper I used is from the Irresistable line by My Mind's Eye. I used the dp as inspiration and coloured the image using my Copic markers. Then I cut it out and embossed it using my Nesties. Then I carefully outlined the card on the embossed frame with my light blue marker.

The card base is a chocolate Bazzill Bling 6x6 card and I used a light blue called Sparkle for accents and matting. I layered some Bo Bunny fabric flowers and a pink Prima Hydrangea and attached them to the card with pink glitter brads. I pop dotted the main layer and the sentiment, which is also by Motivet.

For those that are interested, here is are the Copic markers I used: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, R11, R20, R22, R29, G82, BG000 and BG72.

You can call Phebe at The Town Scrapper in Petrolia and find out which of these cuties she has in stock! I know she just got a shipment!

Have a super stampy Monday!!

Hang 10!!

Good morning, stampers! It's a little cooler here in Ontario today, but I'm happy anyway. Wanna know why? Because today is my last day of work before 10 whole days of holidays!!! yaaaaay!! I'm excited!

My card today makes me think of hot summer days that are soon to come! The new Surfer Ian stamp came from The Town Scrapper and I know she has a bunch more of the new ones and some older ones, so give Phebe a call to find out what she has in the store right now. The patterned paper is from Phebe too and I believe it's by WeRMemorykeepers. The colours went really well with this image, I think.

I stamped Ian on Wausau bright white cardstock and coloured him in with coordinating Copic markers. The images by The Greeting Farm are so much fun to colour! Then I cut Ian out. The card base is Gable Green with So Saffron for matting. I took some Bashful Blue cardstock and cut it out with a wavy Creative Memories template and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls embossing folder. I sponged the edges with BBlue ink and then layered them on the bottom edge of the card, pop dotting the top layer and adding some yellow scrapper's floss. I stamped a great Beachy Sentiment by CCDesigns and punched it out with my oval punches, pop dotted it and also Ian himself!!

Well, I'm off to work and get stuff cleared off my desk and out of my in basket before I get to relax for a week! We won't be going to far this week as Emileigh is still in school but we may be doing some day trips and a bunch of stuff around the house. I hope to get a bunch of stamping done too!! Yay!!

Have a super day!!
