Cute as a Bug!!
Yesterday was a hoot and a half!! Andrea and I met up in London and headed to Petrolia to go visit our pal Phebe! We walked in to the store and saw our friend Judy there....hi Judy!! *wave* We must have all had the same idea at the same time...shop for stamps at Phebe's!!! haha! Well, we all got some awesome deals...great paper, some embellishments and of course, some awesome new rubbah!!! I'll try to work with something this weekend to show you! We also zipped next door to Actor's for some lunch and Ellen joined us....hey Ellen!!! We always have a ball when we get together....talking about stamps and eating...what could be better?
Today's card features some of my fave colours, purples and turquoise and who doesn't love butterflies! This card uses the new set Cute as a Bug by Lizzie Anne Designs. I stamped the image on Wausau and used my Nesties to cut out and emboss it. Then I used my Copic markers to coordinate with the patterned papers. The cardstock is a green Bazzill base in A2 size and I also used a light blue for the scalloped layer. I added a couple of strips of the dp in different lengths, added some buttons (don'tcha love the sparkly one?) threaded with Scrapper's Floss and added the sentiment. I pop dotted everything and added sparkle to the butterfly's wings using my Stardust Sakura gel pen.
Well, I'm off to work all day today...blech. It's just not right on a Saturday, don't you agree??

Hi Kimmie,
Very cute bug card. Love the sentiment! Adorable. You have a great eye for matching with such pleasing colours!
I miss your daily updates though... ;) I know you're busy, summer tends to keep us occupied with other fun stuff. And the beautiful weather, for the past couple of days, is a bonus.
