Krafty Challenge #63!!

Good Saturday morning, peeps!! Time for another fun challenge with the Krafty Girls!!! This week's challenge is to reduce, reuse, or recycle!! The Marvelous Melanie would like you to repurpose something to use on your design!! This doesn't have to be hard...just be creative!!!

For my recycled item, I used this gorgeous wide grosgrain ribbon!! It was actually tied around a pair of flannel pajamas that were given to me two Christmases ago. I was hanging on to it for just the right card and I think this is it!

I used the new Stripes the Zebra for this sweet baby card! I stamped him up and coloured him using my Copic markers. I sponged around the edges of the main layer with pink ink to soften it up. The card base is Basic Black to make the pastel colours pop. The patterned papers are actually from a winter line by Three Bugs in a Rug. I just love all the stripes.....to go with Stripes!! Heehee!

I stamped the sentiment that comes with Buggy Full 'O Ducks at the bottom. A little sparkle was also added to the butterfly using my clear Spica pen. Finally, I attached a pink crocheted flower with a pearl brad. I made the flower a while back, when the crocheted flower bug hit me. I think I made about ten of them and then lost interest. Hehe.

I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge and you could win some new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Hop on over to the challenge blog and get some more inspiration and ideas that you can use on your creation!!

Happy kraftin'!
