Exciting News.....and a SALE!!!

There's LOTS of exciting stuff going on at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps these days!! SO much!

First of all, we have some fabulous Krafty Guests for the month of May!! One is a great friend and repeat offender.....my pal Kerry Johnson!! She's guested for us before and her Kraftin' Kimmie kreations are awesome! Next up is the sweet and lovely Taylor Usry! We were on a design team together once upon a time. And last but definitely not least....the incredibly talented Inge Groot! Inge and I have been on a couple of design teams together and I admire her gorgeous style SO much! Just wait 'til you see what they've been doing with the new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! heehee!



Also, I am so thrilled to announce that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has a new permanent Krafty Girl! Carole Burrage and I have known each other for a couple of years, starting on the MFT design team around the same time. You know those people that you just hit it off with instantly?? That's how I feel about Carole. In fact, we've said that it's a good thing we don't live near each other or we might wreak a little havoc when hangin' out together! But hey...I like havoc...in fact I pretty much live in a perpetual state of havoc......




Which brings me to my next announcement! I'm running out of roooooom for all these stamps!! Seriously....you should see my basement....actually you probably shouldn't. I just took delivery of yet MORE stamps yesterday and have nowhere to put them. So what do you say we have a sale?? Haha! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is celebrating National Scrapbooking Day and Mother's Day by having a big ol' SALE!! There are over 100 stamps from all of our lines on SALE 25-75% off!! A Birthday Surprise!! Yeah, Baby!!

Happy February, everyone!! I hope the weather is nicer where you are! We are battening down the hatches right now, in anticipation of a huge snowstorm that should hit us this afternoon! As long as the hydro doesn't go out, I will be a happy camper in my jammies and with my ink and markers!! heehee!

So many of you may know that Thursday, February 3rd is my 40th birthday!! And to celebrate we're going to have a couple of fun surprises for you at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! The first will be a SALE.....you KNOW how I love sales!! And it's a good one too...but it's only good for two days! There will be a coupon code for you to use and I will have it posted first thing on Thursday morning!

The second surprise.....well, have you ever thought you'd like to be a Krafty Girl?? Do you think you have what it takes to play with some of the most talented girlies in the krafty bizness!? Would you like to get inky with new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps before the rest of the world even sees them??? Heehee! Now on to todays Krafty Kard!!! Heehee! The stamp I used today is from the newest release from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Meet Tiny Miles and Maisie! I just love these two little cuties....and the image can be used for either a boy or a girl card or scrapbook page. I love babies....but I love baby mice even more!! Heehee!



I stamped them on Neenah cardstock with Memento ink and coloured them up with my Copic markers. Then I cut them out and embossed them with my Nesties and sponged around the edge with some chalk ink while the frame was still on. The card base is Kraft cardstock and the papers are all from the new My Mind's Eye pad....love those papers!



The edges of all the papers were distressed with Sahara Sand chalk ink and I added some lovely twill across the middle and added a bow. I made a little circle/button/flag/sentiment thing, a la my lovely friend Joanne Basile! I love how she does that on lots of her cards! So cute! And the sentiment is from the Everyday Sentiments set.

Challenge #27 - Let's Get Sketchy!!

Sorry I'm a little late this morning. Al and I stayed up late to watch a movie and by the time I finished up the post over at the KKS Challenge Blog, it was after 1am....and that's waaaay past my bedtime!! hehe!



This week the wonderful Jeanne has put together a great sketch for us to use!! I LOVE using sketches because it always gives me that inspiration to start off my design! It's like a no-brainer! Sketches are my very favourite challenges!



For my card I used the lovely Miss Charlotte!! I had a baby card that I needed to make, so this was perfect! I hope my friend's poor kids turn out better than Charlotte's!! Haha! I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured her in with my Copic markers. The cardstocks are by Bazzill and the patterned papers are from the Pitter Patter line. I used some Doodlebug star buttons that I've had for ages and tied some scrapper's floss through them. I stamped the sentiment from our Everyday Sentiments set and punched it out. I added some Martha Stewart ribbon and lastly I sponged around the image using some chalk ink, then pop dotted everything!!

Who Loves a SALE????

So I'm needin' to make some space in my craft room......it's overflowing......so I'm having a SALE!! Actually it's a joint sale with my stampin' soul sistah, Andrea, so there will be TWICE as many goodies to scoop up!!!
