OH Happy Day!!!

It's not really a 'Happy Day' for me today, because I have to work all day....but I'm using this card to try and psyche myself up for it!! Haha!!! Will it work?? We'll have to see.

I used this happy fellow from the By The Sea stamp set by Lizzie and Designs and paired him up with the perfect sentiment from the new Everyday Sayings set. The card base is a 5 1/4 square Sahara Sand card and I used Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Certainly Celery for matting along with the SU designer papers. I added some pretty Celery twill with a bow and made a cluster of matching buttons in the corner with some linen thread. I finished it off by doing some paper piercing and adding some sparkle to the sand with my Sakura Stardust gel pen! OH and I used the layout from this week's LAD Sketch Challenge!!

I would much rather be laying in the sand like this guy, but instead I'll be helping people find Clive Cussler, showing them where the Health section is or listening to them complain about how they can't get figure out how to get from one website to another....and then printing something from the public computers....*eyeroll*....that's a whole other can o' worms! *sigh*

Hope YOU have an inky day!!
