Rainy Day Anya!
6:33 AM

It's Friday........booooooo! Haha! Bet ya thought I'd say, yay, didn't ya?? Well, not this time, because it means that my week of holidays is almost over! Only a couple of days left, then back to work. Hmph.
I scooped up the new Teen Anyas called Rain, Snow, Shine from The Town Scrapper a couple of weeks ago and I finally had a chance to play with one. I also got this sweet designer paper from Stampin' Up and thought it would go perfectly with the springy, girly image.
The card base is a 6x6 Kraft square card with Old Olive, Cameo Coral and Rose Red for matting and accents. I stamped Rainy Day Anya on Wausau bright white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with coordinating Copic markers. I used my Apron Lace border punch and added some sheer green ribbon. I pop dotted the main layer and attached some Prima hydrangeas with Basic Grey brads. The sentiment is by MFThings.

For those that are interested, here are the Copic markers I used: E000, E00, R30, E30, E31, YG93, R21, R32, RV34, RV19, N0.
Well, I have a few errands to run today and hopefully it's going to warm up. The whole week has been rather dreary and overcast, so it would be nice if we had a sunny day or two before it's over. Hope you have a wonderful Friday!!

I love the simplicity of this design, and that sentiment is perfect for Rainy Day Anya!

So gorgeous papers.

That card is so beautiful!! I have those Anya stamps too. How do you get the little highlight in her hair? Like the one "strip" that is lighter, like the light is shining on it?

Hey there my Sistah friend! Beautiful card as always. I am always amazed at the shine in the hair technique - I've got to practise that one! Hope you had a great week. The weather is looking sunny for the weekend - hope you get some warmth there as well.
Cheers, Pinky
