It's Your Day....Have a Ball!!

Here is yet another fabulous new image from the July release of High Hopes Rubber Stamps! This handsome devil is named after my dad, Retired Raymond!! Heehee! And I used it to make a Father's Day card for the real Raymond!!

I used some striped Bo Bunny patterned paper for my inspiration and all the cardstock is textured Bazzill Bling....mmmmmm. I stamped Raymond on Wausau bright white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in with my Copic markers. I cut out a big circle of white cardstock, then ran it through my Cuttlebug with a dotted embossing folder and turned it over to make it look like the divets in a golf ball (my Dad is an avid golfer, in case you hadn't guessed). I attached some Basic Grey brads and pop dotted everything, including the sentiment, which is also a new stamp!!

In case you are interested, here are the Copic markers that I used: E21, W1, BG000, Y32, E44, G14 and B02!

So I gave Dad his card on Father's Day and I told him that this stamp was not even released yet and that when it was released, it would be named after him. He got quite a chuckle out of that.

Well, tomorrow is the big day......overnight tonight, the new images will be added to the High Hopes online catalogue so you can check them out!!! You can get up tomorrow morning, sit down with your cup of coffee and check out aaaaaallllll the new stamps!! Just plug in HOTP for Hot Off the Press and they'll all come up! Be sure to hop around to some of the Divas' blogs (there is a list on my left hand side bar) and you'll get some sneak peeks of more cute designs!!

Have a stampin' good weekend!!
