Bloom Where You Are Planted!!!

Couldn't you just DIE!!!? Isn't that the cutest, fluffiest bunny rabbit you've ever SEEN?!!! I love him! And all the other new High Hopes stamps.....but all the others won't be released until February 15th!!

Today you are getting a special preview of the new High Hopes Stamps because THESE ones are the February Project of the Month stamps!! Woohoooooooo! The only way to get them before the scheduled release date is to order them in the Project of the Month kit!

I also made this card for this week's High Hopes Challenge #16 brought to us by the fabulously crafty ILA!!! This week she asked us to use some Lovely Lace on our designs so I used some wonderful 'lacey ribbon' from Inque Boutique!

I stamped the *new* bunny image on Wausau bright white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in using my Copic markers (of course). The card base is Baja Breeze along with Pretty in Pink matting. The patterned paper is from the Shabby Chic line by Junkitz. I stamped the Bloom sentiment directly onto the dp, added the lace along with a sizzix swirly diecut in Baja Breeze and attached some fuzzy Prima Fancies flowers using glittery brads. To finish it off I pop dotted the main image and then painted some Shimmerz onto the tulip and hearts!

High Hopes Challenge #6, Blog Candy and POTM!!

Good Sunday morning stampers!! I hope some of you got an extra hour of sleep this morning with Daylight Savings Time! I forgot to turn my clock back so when I woke up I saw that it was 9am and thought, wow, I actually got to sleep in!! But then I realized it was really only 8am....ugh.

Anyway, it's Sunday again and you know what that means!! It's time for another High Hopes Challenge!! This week's challenge is to create a holiday card with non-traditional colours! So I decided to make a pink and blue Santa!! hahaha!

Part of the reason I wanted to use these colours is because I have the awesome new Be Merry dp by My Mind's Eye that I got from The Town Scrapper! I LOVE this paper and the unusual colour combo for Christmas cards...I love it!!

I decided to ink up my Woodland Santa and colour him using my Copic markers to match the dp. The card base is a 6x6 Soft Sky square and I sewed the dp to a square layer of Pretty in Pink. The beautiful satin polka dot ribbon was given to me but I believe it is from Papertrey, as is the sentiment that I used. I pop dotted Santa and his tree and added a blue button! I think Santa makes a rather cute pink and blue card!!

High Hopes Project of the Month!!

I have some more High Hopes stuff for you to see....this time it's Holiday High Hopes stuff.....say that 3 times fast!!!

Each month High Hopes hand picks a set of stamps that coordinate for their Project of the Month and has a special of 25% off them when purchased as a set!! This month the set includes some of the new release holiday stamps!! Just in time for gift giving and Christmas card making!!!

I've made some samples for you to see just how cute they are!!! First I made this very simple card using the Three Paned Santa stamp, colouring it in with my Copic markers. I rounded the corners and matted it on Real Red, then sparkled up Santas hat with a Spica gel pen. I added some Winter Bright dp, some grosgrain ribbon, the sentiment and then pop dotted the main image.



I utilized a lot of the cardstock stickers from the Winter Bright scrappin' kit for the gift tags I made. They were so quick and easy (and CUTE), that I think all my gift tags this year are going to look like these ones!

I stamped the Three Paned Santa again and cut apart the different panes and used them on the tags. I made the tags myself, just measuring in from the sides and making a diagonal cut to make the tag shape at the top. I used my horizontal slot punch and added ribbon to each of them and it took no time at all!
